Definitely return the expensive crap tee - i don't think anyone wants you to waste £75 on it ! maybe just pop it on at the beginning of testing basics as you said to show us the issues then return it. Loooooved the vlog as per !! x
Historically testing basics used to be about testing things from different price points but since you're trying to be more conscious and there's so much choice for white tees you could do ethical ones versus really ones from big high streets shops. That could be a change from your original idea

Bah Lizzie I suffer with cold sores too and have tried alll the things over the years none of which worked and when I discovered L-Lysine it just made life SO much better. If I take one as soon as I feel a tingle then nothing even appears but if I can’t get to some until it’s already formed then it at the very least helps to keep it from sticking around as long as normal. Praise be to L-Lysine haha Also loved the cloud dog description! Excited about the podcast! Xx

The best high end tee I found is from RAG & BONE (the vee pima cotton-jersey, £80). It is the king of every basic t-shirt, I have tried them all, I would rather have just 1 Rag and Bone forever and nothing else.

Hey Lizzy! I also get cold sores, and I’ve done the topical cream my whole life. I just found out that there is a pill you can take. My last cold sore went away in 2 days!!!! And it wasn’t sore or red or gross. I live in the US, so I am not sure what the UK pharmacy rules are, but the medicine is called Valacyclovir. I highly recommend looking into it. Xoxo
I’ve had tees from James Perse (as has my husband), and I don’t rate them at all. I don’t think the quality is very good at all and the texture of the ones he has is rough. I’d recommend doing re/done instead. Slim fit and LOVE their tees. They have a lived in feel to them 👌🏻
Can I ask which JP tee you purchased? If you ordered a EK, ELJ, or MJP tee then yes the knit will be much thinner, since it is a high gauge cotton knit. Meaning thinner yarn/finer knit. You will probably most likely prefer the classic LJ tee, which is a heavier weight soft cotton. Full disclosure, I am a JP employee in the US main office.
I had a similar problem to you with an Acne white t shirt. Cost a small fortune and was so thin it was virtually transparent. Really disappointing! Can't beat Uniqlo for t shirts in my opinion! Although I do have some Anine Bing t shirts which are expensive but really good quality, thick cotton. Thanks for the video. 😀
thank you for always updating us on your new things, it would be perfect to make a vedio or maybe a serie on your opinion of those new items and would you recommend to get those. because once i saw your vedio i want to purchase those things immediately but still have concerns like do you actually enjoy them and wear them often.
James Perse t shirts are not good. I have 2 of them that I got for $15 in consignment shops and would not buy again. I have a red one and black one and both faded and and the seams twisted after washing them. I wouldn’t buy again even for $15. A t shirt brand I do like is Vince. They do skinny ones really well. I wore mine until there were holes in it.
