Thanks alot simpler than I thought very informative and clear appreciate it. Alot of videos on the electric water pump on the x3 barely none on the serpentine driven water pump, replaced my thermostat and now I'm ready to replace my waterpump. Keep it up!
Bro keep doing videos on that model of X3 you've provided the most comprehensive video on how to do a repair on my car but I have seen yet and there's a lot of work to do
No need to buy Chinese parts for your BMW. Buy a German OEM pump from fcpeuro for ~$45. It's probably a good idea to buy the ones with metal impellers rather than the plastic ones.
hey man no joke ty ty got 2 quotes local to Seattle as of feb/24 $750 both spots 1 independent other shop, the part it self at local autozone with metal impeller 70 bucks i think with lifetime warranty easy no brainer and i have also thought about being a mechanic myself cause they make fucking lawyer money FFS

The bolts that hold the pulley onto the pump are M6 - you can use those to press the pump off the block.
BMW thought of everything!
Love your videos you just made life better
Put a little coolant on the pump o-ring seal and it slips right in.
Thanks a lot..... Greetings from VIENNA (EUROPE)
How many miles you have on the Amazon pump? still running?
Thanks for this! How's the metal aftermarket water pump holding up?
Thank man
Hey Buddy, do you need to drain the coolant prior to the job?
Do you put gasket maker?
Love you, you was great
Thanks
Thank for the video
Happy to help!
Not one word on bleeding the coolant system.

Great tip! Thank you! FCP Euro is the best
Rockauto is a good one as well I bought the metal version of the thermostat and water pump Greatest investment ever made
Shout outs to the homie ..... Really appreciate you mang🤘🧐🤟 ..
If the pump is loose does it mean it’s bad or are the screws just loose and I need to tighten it up?
Tough to say if something (like the bolts) may be stripped, or if the bolts were just loose. You'll likely need to add fluid after tightening.
It didnt have hoses clipped to it?
Nope
Quality over quantity not a vehicle to rush on
