Hello, I think you didnt get your question answered here, probably u might have somewhere else Personally I play piano for hobby and I started few months ago, like 3 or 4 I guess... So I have learnt to play the mvt 3 of moonlight (not full of course) but a good part of it, I might be also younger than you, but my advice is that yes just start and if you have the passion for it, you will learn fast! Probably the whole mvt in a year!

For some reasons, I prefer when it's played slightly too slow, like on this video, than when it's played too fast. It sounds better that way.

I think this is closer to the tempo that this piece is supposed to be played at. Some people play this piece just way too fast.
