    Water looks so crisp! Back bays are killing it right now!! Stay safe, everyone.

    I have been fishing a lot lately at the bridge in Mastic. Always good for rod bender. Plenty of places in the area for stripes,blues,and crabs. Fluke were abundant but short. I recommend giving it a shot.

    Nice to see people out fishing. Can’t fish anywhere out here in Southern California. Great video James.

      I'm surprised they haven't shut it down out here by me yet. Hang in there hopefully this will all be over soon and we can get back to normal! Stay safe and healthy!

    Looks like North Shore .. be careful buddy, I know you have kids like me at home and I'm just too scared to risk bringing anything home so I have made the choice to hang up the rods for now. Stay safe and great video!

      Yeah i hear ya. I've limited the amount of fishing i do now because of this virus. Hopefully the curve starts dropping soon and we start getting back to normal. Thanks for dropping in and stay safe and healthy!

    Great video - thanks for the tackle list - I'm just starting out - can you give a quick reference on hooks?

    • @jamesschlickoutdoors
      @jamesschlickoutdoors  4 роки тому

      Glad you enjoyed the video! As far as hooks you want strong hooks that'll not bend or break on you. Companies such as VMC, Kalin, and Owner make really good jigheads for swimbaits - amzn.to/2ycbSKF
      amzn.to/2WjPyGP
      amzn.to/3aXLmSz
      (Links are just a reference)
      And if your bait fishing hooks like the Gamakatsu circle hook is a great choice -

      I hope that helps! Stay safe and tight lines out there!

    Really enjoyed video. Have not been out yet, got to watch the asthma and going nuts. I only go in the backyard and practice my fly casting. At this rate I'll be an expert caster if this damn virus keeps up. Stay safe and healthy out there everyone.

    I think you guys should be on docked boats -- you have me concerned!
    If a strong & huge wave comes -- a docked boat would protect you.
    Also -- these vids with you standing in the water -- for hours could give kids an wrong msg.
