Whisper of Shards doesn't activate on this build. It only procs on the ice wall type of stasis crystals. It doesn't proc on frozen enemies. If you use the exotic bow that can shoot ice walls that would work. Also glacial harvest only gives melee energy back, not grenade energy. I've switched from glacial harvest to turrets and iceflair bolts. You can still get 6 or 7 turrets out still with the right mods. Iceflair bolts turns your turrets into mini supers. Plus if you don't want a turret just toss your grenade as normal.
Now that elemental shards is gone, this build has changed a bit. No more Glacial Harvest or whisper of conduction conduction for me. Now I'm using Ice Flair Bolts and Turrets, along with Chains, Torment, Fissures and Remnants (you could throw Rime in for overshields for torment or remnants) and then various mods to get grenade back quicker with charged up and stacks, stasis surges, along with a Demo weapon in my energy slot. Needless to say, plenty of grenades and damage and survivability. Loving this build! Any other suggestions??
The proper way to use Osmiomancy. It's a coldsnap/freezer trace exotic and should be used as such. You bounce those nades off targets and you're never out of nades, and the entire room is frozen. The best gun by far to run with this is Ager's. It's not close to whatever is the runner-up. However, if you run the new heavy exotic glaive, which is a ton of fun, a stasis gun with Headstone is a good primary. That will also activate the fragment that gets you grenade regen by shattering crystals.
I thought kickstart mods don't work with abilities with multiple charges (osmiomancy). Also, double siphon mods don't work either. Lastly, there's what other comments pointed out about whisper of shards.
Using glacial harvest is pretty useless in here since you don't actually get anything usefull from it. Would recommend using turrets or equipping whisper of rime for overshields. Also new exotic glaive with the VoD fusion is mighty fine for some other weapons to use.
@@manungooh1828 It not worth it anymore. Try adding bleak watcher and iceflare bolts with Whisper of refraction and bombers and watch your grenade comeback every time u get rift energy which is ALL THE TIME.
After hearing the backlash I'm sure bungie is going to be making some adjustments to the new strand for lightfall and actually giving grenades instead of a damn grappling hook we want grenades we want DPS not swings, not Spider-Man
Shouldav replaced the powered melee. Since you can swing towards enemies and follow up with a buffed up melee. It shouldav been melee from the start. And if you don't melee someone after the grapple swing you retain like 1/3 of the energy.
Quick question: did you even finish the campaign? Did you even bother to look at what you can unlock? If you did, then you know that strand already has grenades and DPS.

better to ignore melee and fully spec into grenade and rifts, then pair that with chain of command
Try running the new exotic glaive with this, you won't be disappointed
It seems like they did kill buildcrafting a bit, seems like you can’t spam Stasis Turrets and have 4 of them out like you did before

With a good stasis turrets build, you could have up to 7-8 turrets up at a time.

At first I thot it got nerfed till I realise they made grenade Kickstart work with osiomancy now use it x3 and iceflare bolts with bleak watcher
I think a void demolitionist primary is better with the void flow artifact perk

but you do get grenades? very good ones in fact that make champs and "hard" more enemies of a joke than they alr were
But you can use grenades though..? You just gotta unlock them when you finish light fall
