Been running this on stasis with Heartshadow. Heavy attack shatters all the crystals, makes you invis, and gives you devour with the artifact perk that says "rapidly defeating weakened combatants grants devour". This + a glaive(i use the raid glaive from salvation's edge w/ demo+chaos reshaped) is so much survivability, and is really fun. TLDR: Invis, Devour, Frost Armor, Weaken and the ability to run both grenade regen fragments. Crazy.
For prismatic you run bleak and devour Grenade: Lowest cooldown or vortex Super: Song of Flame Melee: Incinerator Snap (for light transcendence energy and ignitions) Facet of balance (I mean the one that gives grenade energy on dark and melee on light) Facet that boosts damage with darkness debuffed targets Facet of Ruin Facet of protection Final one is probably open, I’d argue awakening to get more shards and depending on your energy weapon get ionic traces I could see another argument for the facet that adds weaken and jolt for transcendence and if you wanted pocket weaken, this could be an option when devour is easier to trigger without investment There’s argument for facet of command but I don’t think so here Wicked Implement demo chain reaction arc raid wave frame Alternatively Bold Endings Tessalation
Weapon i wanna pair with pure stasis is Horror Story, i think auto rifles feel pretty good as a weapon and it can also get (and hopefully will get this coming FotL) Demo + Headstone, Headstone pairing well with whisper of shards
@@sleepyy0000 you’re probably right I know I’m running vortex on this I posted this at 1:30 I wasn’t thinking (hence my inability to remember facet names)
would love too see a prismatic version stasis lock kit is really fun but the survivability in harder content a a bit to be desired, also doesn't help that winters wrath is probably warlocks worst super
I just don’t suggest using this exotic for Prismatic. It’s another one of those situations where you hyper focus on one component of prismatic rather than using Prismatic as Prismatic, so it doesn’t utilize the whole kit when compared to more traditional prismatic builds. Something like Osmiomancy Gloves go a long way to make a very active loadout that lends better to Prismatic because you can trade out Bleak Watcher for Helion and quickly push Light and Dark gauges to full.
Stasis still better for onslaught. Stasis gives you passive grenade regen while with devour you have to get kills to get your grenade back. Also, the duskfield grenade have a way lower CD than coldsnap, thus you can spam way more torrets without even getting kills. I did a few expert runs, and stasis is way better when you have tanky enemies that wont die easily to proc devour.
I've tried both, stasis is better. You just need to destroy the crystals to keep the regent going, is harder content getting kills to keep devour going becomes harder
While WI is a good choice, ultimately I hate how I feel it takes forever for the gun to actually shoot and kill a target, even while frozen. I prefer my frozen targets dead after they’re stasis debuffed- that’s why I opted for Verglass Curve. Still relies on crystal shattering, breaks crystals quickly and adds to them, and can wall off choke points to keep enemies from entering in a zone
If you want your teammates to hate you try this with Verglas Curve, you can cover the whole map with crystals, its so funny, they cant see they cant move everything is just frozen enemies and crystals
The prismatic version with Feed the Void, the correct fragments, and a better super makes this infinitely better than the pure stasis version with higher ability uptime, more DPS, and more versatility.
Once you put a champion mod on a weapon, the things that would affect other champions won’t work. For example. Overload auto had no affect on barrier and unstoppable champs despite radiant and ignitions.
I build it as well, with Prismatic and pure Stasis. Both are good but...Prismatic Getaway Artist is still on another Level if it turns around Expert Onslaught or solo GM.
I would love to play a pure stasis warlock build, but i just can't bring myself to play a subclass with such a bad and unfun to use super, i like using guns and basic abilities, i don't want to be stuck in a subpar super so that I don't feel like im missing a huge part of my kit
I like the stasis version over the prismatic. There are better prismatic builds but regardless. I went with aegers scepter version for normal content. I can see wicked being good for harder stuff. Also another option is to run a headstone/demo primary and run bloodline to get devour going on stasis. Seems like a good option for both worlds. Another reason for aegers is because everyone hates the winters wraith super so screw it. Use wills reformed alternate firing mode for dps. For fragments I went shards/fisures/torment and conduction for quality of life from all the shards
i wanted to use a stasis version of this exotic as a build so bad, but being able to get frost armor on any subclass (prismatic) with the new seasonal weapons kinda just gives it no point besides to use the artifact mod.
The only problem with running this exotic on prismatic is that you make like no orbs because everything dies to shatter damage rather than weapon damange
I’m not sure if it’s well known or even known or if I’m just missing something. But wind chill artifact mod doesn’t seem to work with every stasis weapon. Agers doesn’t seem to work. Can anyone confirm this?
It's not bugged, it is intended that way because Wicked Implement has the "slow" effect on scoring multiple precision shots, therefore having a washed up ~intrinsic~ anti-overload capability. BEcause of that it won't work with anti-champion mods.
Kinda random question, but was the Stasis subclass unlocked through the Witch Queen campaign or Beyond Light? I returned during the free to play period and have been trying to make time to catch up on content.
Yeah, Devour is better than the Stasis shard aspect, but I would say that Iceflare Bolts might actually be better. You don’t need to regenerate your health if nothing can shoot at you! Plus, whisper of refraction can get your Rift back faster.
@@JarJarBricks01actually no, you get more grenade regen on stasis with shattering crystals and frozen enemies then you do with devour. And it doesn’t require ability kills either.
