Hello and welcome to part 2 of residency diaries!
First 2 months of residency went by so smoothly, I felt 100% sure that the branch I had chosen was perfect for me.
But then I had a few bad days (I still do, and they are getting more frequent) and then I realised hmmm. I just have to get through this. I won’t enjoy every part of it. I will regret not choosing medicine very often. I will feel dumb and helpless many, many times.
But I will also enjoy some things. I will look forward to some things. This is what residency is like for everyone. I am no exception.
Now that I am halfway done with first year, there are few things that I know and many more that I don’t. All I can do is be sincere, be kind and be curious and strong.
I am already mentally prepared for the hate comments that this video is going to get 😆 (because a radio resident is whining about work)
But it is what it is ¯\_(ツ)_/

SO it looks like the saying "radiology residents having it easy "is just another myth!😅 Albeit a little less hectic than medicine still it looks tiring!
Don’t demotivate aspirants so that you can have a better shot in next counselling.
Hahhha medicine is much more fun talking to some many different cases and knowing about them. You are there primary physician and you become like their family. You don’t kill time in Medicine like they do in Radiology. In Medicine time just flies by ❤️

Life is not a bed of roses bro... Only getting great rank doesn't guarantee peace of mind in further life. And indeed not for JRs... The hectic schedule they have to go through in puts a lot of mental toll on themselves..
Cracking an exam is a stepping stone to More responsibility phase
She was happy as she got access to the road to become a radiologist, does not mean that the road itself is pleasant, hopefully the destination is. Same as the journey of preparation for neet pg.

Yes she's happy she got her dream branch but that doesn't mean it's not tiring. She doesn't regret getting into radio. She's just exhausted and tired and she absolutely can do that as she is a human
