Gorgeous card Laura, the craft card base is definitely better than the white, it shows off the gilding flakes on the vellum much better. Really lovely. ❤😘
Thank you so much! I preferred the Kraft too because I think the flakes stood out more! So glad you liked the card 😍 thank you so much for always watching! Have a great weekend 🩷
Laura, brilliant autumn card! I agree that the kraft card colour is superior and the use of the charteuse paper was a fab decision. Thanks for the tutorial and inspiration. x
Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment :) I really appreciate it! I agree, the Kraft definitely looked better in the end it helped the gilding flakes stand out. :)
I agree - the Kraft just helped the guiding flakes pop. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment ☺️ I really appreciate it ☺️!
Laura, your card is stunning!! I like the kraft cardstock the best!! I do need to get my gilding flakes out and use them!! I loved your bracelet!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Thank you so much Michele! 🙂 so glad you preferred the Kraft - I agree, it made the flakes stand out more! Aw thanks it's not a bracelet though it's my hair bobble 😆 it's an Invisibobble but I do love wearing it as a bracelet! 😃 have a great weekend!
Love it 🫶🏻 never thought about using gilding flakes on vellum, because I was sure it will all be warped and I would end up with a roll of glue an flakes all over 🙈 thanks for showing how u manage this.
Thank you so much for watching. Unfortunately not. Versamark is a water mark ink and although it's temporarily sticky enough to hold embossing powder it does not stay stick. So with gilding flakes you need a glue that dries tacky or sticky so that the flakes stay stuck. I hope that helps!
Lovely card! Kraft cardstock definitely feels best to me.
Beautiful card thanks for sharing
Such a pretty card. I love all of the cards you create, so original xx

Gorgeous ❤
Very nice card! I will definitely try it on my vellum (which isn’t heat resistant so it has been hanging around my craft room forever). Thanks!
Beautiful autumn card. I think you were smart in choosing the craft cardstock, the white was nice, but the craft does make it pop more.

Beautiful card! I prefer the craft for the base, although the weight wasn’t bad either. Not a fan of the chartreuse though. Thanks for the demo!

Will the holding flakes work with Versamark?
