I don't have a laminator machine. I have a small crafting space. This year I used a collection of pine tree stamps to make my Christmas cards. I stamped the trees with my Versa Mark glue pad. Next I laid the foil sheet over the top and ran it through my die cut machine. The added pressure made the foiling sheet adhere. I was thrilled with the results.
These are great. I love how you show us ways to make beautiful cards without having to always buys the expensive new tools that are always coming on the market. I could go broke trying to keep up with all the latest. I wish I had the budget because the designers are incredible, but when I can’t spend, you always show us ways to get around it and still make beautiful cards. Thanks!
I agree with not having to buy everything that comes out. I have sooo much and it hardly ever gets used. Wish I watched Natasha sooner, but I'm learning, lol.
Ditto! I’ve bought everything but the Betterpress and haven’t opened any of the fancy stuff. I stopped buying every stamp & die set when I realized some of them seemed like reboots of earlier sets. Plus I realized it would take me 50+ years to use the sets that I own already.
Lovely card, I loved it ❤ and suits our summery Christmas. I've been looking for options for Christmas ideas not involving snowmen and reindeers as I live in Australia, so I found this option sooo perfect. It'll be so much appreciated if you share more summery Christmas ideas😊 Thanks for sharing 😊
Beautiful cards yet simple process! I knew this could be done, however I totally forgot! I actually own two foiling machines, but I find them to be a bit frustrating at times. This is so much easier, plus you don't have to drag out the machine to do it! Thanks so much Natasha!
What a smart idea about using the hole punch on the scraps! Little hearts or stars would be great embellishments to do even if you don’t use it on the card you are currently making, save them for the future. LOVE IT!!
Absolutely brilliant! I just checked though and the foam sheets are out of stock. Must be everyone who watched this video before me went and ordered them! Can't wait to get some!
Loving these! The tiny little dots are probably not going to happen in my craft room, though. I’m frustrated enough with my trigger fingers that don’t do what I want them to, and now they sometimes refuse to unkink! But… I’m still making cards, and you are my favorite inspiration. Thank you. (We are transitioning into fall, but today and tomorrow are back in the 80’s, so digging through the “summer” pile this morning to find something to wear! Thanks for not being a salesperson for the big companies, but keeping it real for those of us with limited budgets!!!
I have been card making for 20+ years and have seen a lot of ideas and techniques, I almost always get a new idea or trick, and inspiration from your videos! Thanks. I live north a bit of Denver, Colorado, while we don’t always have a white Christmas, I can still see the Rockie Mountains to the west, covered with snow.
Wow, such gorgeous cards Natasha ! I prefer to foil in this way as I only have a small area to craft in & this result is amazing ! The red & gold together are simply stunning ! ❤️💛
I have also avoided going down the foil rabbit hole as far as machines and plates. I like the look of foiling but not enough to make a huge investment in it. I love your ideas on these cards. I had never seen the adhesive foam used with foil. It certainly made a beautiful card. I also like the idea of being able to use the die’s we already have and love. I always love your budget minded ideas. I do have a request- since you seem to be branching out a little more and using more products I wondered if you would consider doing videos on what you have purchased and why. I know many of us love your cards and strive to be like you. I hesitate to call it a “haul” video because that indicates buying just for buying sake, but if you could show us what you purchase and why it might simplify our own purchasing decisions. Thanks as always for all that you do💕
@@christineroberts4153 Compared to Altenew ink pads (the old ones), Gina K ink pads stamp crisper. Tested it on same cardstock and there was a noticeable difference.
This is perfect for people (like me) who don't own or want to invest in a foil machine! Your idea of using the leftovers to make the foiled dots is genius! Thanks Natasha
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love the look of foiling but didn’t want to buy another paper crafting machine, so I have sort of ignored it. Now I’m thrilled to know I can foil without having a machine. Your cards are lovely!
Hi Natasha, Thank you so much for sharing your 2 really lovely cards & Thank you so much for sharing your really WOW WOW WOW idea very much appreciated 🙂💖👍Lin
Thank you so much for sharing your talents! I love that you show us ways to create beautiful projects without having to buy more stuff. I can’t wait to try this technique!
Gorgeous! I use tacky glue to draw designs or numbers and as it dries it has just the right amount of stick to adhere to the foil. And I also use the old punches for making shapes with the double adhesive.
Stacey from Scrapbooking made simple has some techniques using embossing folders. The videos are #142,149 from about 8 years ago but has really beautiful results.
These are wonderfully pretty and I like the dimension the foam creates! I love my Fuse, but this is another quick technique with a slightly different look to add to my ways of using my foil stash. Which btw, even tho I live in the US, I order from Crafty Critta in Australia!! Terrific people, great products and huge variety of sturdy foils etc!! 🧑🏼🎨👍🏻
Wow Natasha! Those cards are classy. Both are stunning but that Christmas card has that extra little bit of pizzazz that just looks gorgeous. I must get a leafy die similar and those foil foam sheets sound amazing. I do have a minc machine but find it a hassle pulling out all the time, so maybe this technique might make my life easier. I’m definitely inspired to get out my foil. Thanks Natasha 😊🩷
Natasha, thank you, thank you soooo much, I’ve had that Deco Foil foam adhesive sheets for a very long time, waiting to be used. This is stunning, you are so wise, and I love that you use up every little bit of pieces, gorgeous card
I have a small craft space, so each of my tools is very carefully chosen. I do not have a hot foil system or a laminator, however, I do have double-sided adhesive sheets, deco foil and deco foil transfer gel duo (for stenciling). It is genius to use adhesive sheets to transfer the foil. You can get such precision; much better than using a stencil. Thank you for this tip, Natasha! I'll use it right away.
Thank you so much for these wonderful tips. I am from South Africa and I have never seen any Gina K products on our shelves which is such a pity. I own quite a bit of foils and you gave me some wonderful ideas ❤
Thank you so much for doing this. So many times we think we have to have all of the gadgets and the whole foiling and all the terms that come along with it just confuse me. I often wondered why it couldn’t be done this way so now you’ve answered that question for me.

Wonderful idea!
I have to try that!
Going to try that too. Thanks for the tip 😊
That’s an awesome idea. I will try it too. Thank you
Good idea, I’ll try it. Thank you
Brilliant. Lovely.
Thank you Natasha. Love it. Inspired to hunt out my foil and double sided adhesive sheets immediately. Can't wait to try it out.

Wow I didn't even know you could foil without heat. Thank you I am definitely trying this
Thank you! I love the foil look but don't want another machine. I love this idea.

The cards are stunning! Using foil in this way is going to be fun, a little bit of glam detail. Thank you 😊
Too fun. Love it! Gotta buy that foam!
WOW! Awesome! Definitely gonna have to purchase that foam tape for foiling!!!

You are the best!!! I can't afford one of those machines either. But, I can do this!!! Thank you so much!!!
Gorgeous!
Great technique as always
Beautiful 🤩

That’s awesome! Thank you so much. I have lots of foil (inherited it from my Mum) and had no clue how to use it. So glad you made this video!
Gorgeous ❤
Aloha from Hawaii with gratitude for this practical foiling tutorial. The cards are fabulously elegant.❤
Absolutely love - the Christmas card is elegant and you’re right, nicely fits to all locations - snowy or not. As always Thank You.
Great idea, I love it. Thank you so much for sharing.
How clever of you, as always, to use a hole punch to make dots instead of using embellishments!!! Bravo👏👏👏

Wow 🤗
I too am interested as I have noticed that Natasha no longer uses Simon Hurley inkpads and has gone over to Gina K. Am curious as to why.

Thx so much because I don’t have all those bug tools to use either. This was so helpful!❤
Love this! ❤
I appreciate the fact that you teach us how to make spectacular out of simple. Thanks!
Can't wait to try this technique! Thank you for sharing!
I ❤ the red and gold foiled card you made. It's so lovely and perfectly festive!
Fantastic!❤
Thanks, Natasha. I can finally make use of the foil that's been in the drawer for a year
I appreciate this so much!
I love watching your videos
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I love the look of foiling but didn’t want to buy another paper crafting machine, so I have sort of ignored it. Now I’m thrilled to know I can foil without having a machine. Your cards are lovely!
Thank you SO much, Natasha, for talking us through this way to easily foil with dimension - classy!
I love this idea to use up our cutting dies & foil them without having to purchase expensive equipment & with such amazing results☺️x
I am absolutely enjoying this video. Love the foiling of both colours 😍
Thank you Natasha for sharing your knowledge
One of my favourites out of all your projects!
What a great way to foil Natasha. Thank you so much for your inspiring video x
Beautiful cards you've made, Natasha, and without all the equipment that just sits unused. Love everything you do and thank you!
You said it, Stunning!!!!!
Such a fabulous idea to get the foiled look without a machine - and of course, both cards are stunning 🌻🌻

Beautiful cards! I dont have a foiling machine either, so expensive and the plates are expensive too. Must try the foam you use, thank you. xxx💖💖💖
Very pretty cards. Love the idea of using the hole punch to add more foil accents.
Thank you for the great video, Natasha! I learned some very easy way to do things, especially when short on time - and funds! Lol 😂 Cheers! 😊🇨🇦

BRILLIANT! I love the dimension
I will have to give this a go as I don't have a foiling machine. And I would love to use foil on my cards xx
This is so cool! I don't have a foil machine but I'd love to be able to do some foiling.
Wow two lovely cards. Thank you, very inspiring. 💗

Dear Natasha, thank you for your simple and effective cards. I like your inspiration. Best regards Monika
Such a beautiful card. Love the red and gold together. Thank you.
Well Natasha , you really helped me with regards to foil, so I’ll be ordering some of that foam. I’ve given up with my laminator. Jenny ❤😊
Beautiful cards. Bought deco foil a long while ago but never used! Inspired me to give it a go ❤
Natasha, thank you, thank you soooo much, I’ve had that Deco Foil foam adhesive sheets for a very long time, waiting to be used. This is stunning, you are so wise, and I love that you use up every little bit of pieces, gorgeous

I have never tried foiling before, I have a laminator but I don’t like to use it. This method is perfect I’ll have to give it a try. 🥰💕
Thanks Natasha, beautiful cards. The double-sided tape is my favorite way to add foil.
Great cards, love the foiling made easy!
