I'm super glad at having a special experience on the horizon for everyone hoping to experience what is coming. And fingers crossed Dylan gets to go for it and feel out the new park. Dylan deserves this with all the work he has done for the past few years in exploring and explaining what is going on behind the scenes and what the average person experiences in their visits and their value. I respect him so much in how he won't just do the thing cause cause it is expected even if it is over priced versus what he might experience. Smart and logical Dude. For Sure.
Another announcement for today was Silver Dollar City unveiling a major expansion plan, including a new resort. Wasn't able to steel the front page from this story, but it still made an exciting day even more hyped.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I'd rather save up and pay more for a standalone theme park ticket (for a better in-park experience and smaller crowds and shorter lines) than pay less for the ticket but have to deal with crushing crowds and endless lines and getting nickel-and-dimed for everything. I'm glad Universal is limiting the ticket availability for Epic Universe, and I hope that will continue for several years after opening so more people have a chance to enjoy the park the way it was intended.
Dylan I'm so ready to go to this park!! I was at Horror Nights last night. You will have to let me know when it's over, which house did you work. 🎉🎉🎉👁🎬🔪🎃🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽✈🙌🏿💜💚🐲
Definitely need those additional ticketing options...don't want to be forced into the other parks just to get to go into Epic. Obviously doing that because they know the other parks will take a hit. With that being said I can't wait to get in there and be fully immersed into the theming!
Im gonna "try" end of June 2024 It might be nuts, flying in from California. Been to Hollywood so much, I'd love to see what Epic Universe and Islands of Adventure is gonna be! Next project Epic California would be incredible too!
i'm excited for that opening day i cant wait to see your vlog of walking threw the gate and into the worlds, yeah i'm super excited for the villain world and super Mario world, i am so curious to see that DK coaster and how it works :)
I can't blame Universal for limiting tickets for the initial days. Demand is going to be insane and they need to limit patronage in the interest of consumer confidence.
I’m torn between wanting to be there for the opening day (if I can pull that off) and wanting to wait until maybe early 2026 so the crowds aren’t as intense. But then again a lot of people are going to be doing that so the crowds will probably stay pretty steady for the first couple years. Such a difficult choice. Good problems to have. 😂
As an Annual Passholder I'm still a little confused. I can purchase up to 6 days for myself? And I have to choose for which days? do they have to be consecutive days?
Aside from purchasing 6 tickets we don’t know if that’s 6 for one day or 6 consecutive days or 6 days anytime. I think that info will be released in a couple days when they go on sale.
I'm looking at December 2025... it's going to be amazing! As far as the early tickets, I know they're really trying to keep crowds somewhat under control to avoid bad guest experiences. For the first month or so, I'm actually fine with the ticket options. It means the rest of their own parks don't suffer for lack of customers, and Epic maybe won't be so overwhelmed.
Love the video and want some tips on starting a vlog channel for me and Michael are thinking of moving to Florida just us together someday and want to meet you some day at Disney land and Bashgarders in January for my fiance Michael's brithday
You are correct on DAK. We are going in Jan, and I decided we only need 3 days because why would I spend over $120 more, per ticket, to do DAK when they do not have much to offer right now. Even though I LOVE Everest and FOP, we dont want to spend the extra.
In the FAQ for the ticket options, it says additional product offerings - including single day and two day tickets for Epic - will be launched at a later date before the park opens. We should be getting more info for annual passholders within the next few months!
The one thing that this new park is going to do is cause the Disney company to lose a ton of money and therefore Disney that claims are going to do all these new attractions is going to do a second raid job like they’ve been doing. All they going to do is get all these pixies to tell everybody how wonderful these new attractions are when they open up, and people are going to believe the pixies bull crap.

Do Dark Universe first so you have enough time to go back a second time at night.
That’s my plan.
Fantastic idea
What night? It closes at 8

Let's hope it's all open and ready on opening day
LOL @ Special Effects 😂
I absolutely love this outdoor video format. The "studio" format gets pretty stale, and often feels too formal. 😊
Amazing video 🌈🌈🎉🎉

Will i be able to purchase the 1 day ticket deal if i buy a pass now? Or do i have to go into the park to active it .😊
I think if you are a Passholder before the 24th

I’m so excited! Hoping to go in October next year. Hopefully they post multi day Epic tickets sometime soon 🤞
I’m sure they will. This is only the first phase so I’m sure more tickets will go on sale soon.

After epic, they need to work on studios and get it on par with the rest of the resort
Totally agree. That park needs a few new things.
I can’t wait I’ll probably visit in November (2025)
That’s going to be a good time because then you’ll also be able to check out all the holiday stuff around the resort. 😁
So the Grand Helios is the equivalent of Grand California at DCA?
Looks to be on the same kind of scale. It’s a premium option so more expensive than say Dockside or Cabana Bay.
Are you out in the wilderness with your forest friends?
🎉🎉100k 🎉🎉
Keeping my fingers crossed I get there.
I actually thought it might open for Spring Break season 2025. I knew it would be early!
So excited! I can’t wait to experience it.
🔥
Thanks for watching!

I'll be waiting until I can go more than once. I'm going to need a full day just for Dark Universe.
That part! lol I’m going to spend so much time in that world alone.

What about the one they were doing in Las Vegas?
That experience should open sometime in 2025 but no new details just yet.
You didnt talk about what rides is actually open?
Maybe in another video but the park will open with 12 rides and two stage shows. 😁
Disney owns their hotels
Universal doesn’t own theirs
And that’s one of the reasons why Disney should offer better amenities.

Express is not going to be included at Helios Grand.
Not at opening. Maybe later in 2026.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD I am on opening team. It’s officially not going to be included.
Hope they let half the capacity in at first. Start slow or itll be a horrible opening week
I think that’s what they are aiming for with the ticket sales.
I'll wait till 2026
Would love if Universal bought wdw :/ !
They don’t need to, they can add to the landscape in Orlando so it gives me a reason to stay out there longer haha
It took Disney, 2 years & 2 months to re-theme the treehouse.. lol
Meanwhile Uni built 12 rides, show venues, shops and restaurants.
Its a third gate water parks dont really count . I will say this disney is going down long live epic wooooooo
No michael again 😩
Disney needs to get rid of their water parks
They just need to update their water parks. They can’t neglect them.
