Great video! Do you know why the E-1 part in the propeller joint assembly has a section cut out of the circle? Can or should this plastic part be replaced with a bearing?
Thank you! I’m not 100% certain, and pondered on that myself, but my guess is so it will allow a slight bit of movement between the gears and from the propeller shaft. It’s the only logic I can think of since it has a trust washer much like an automotive crankshaft in a car or truck. Again just speculation. I’m sure you could use a speciality bearing with the right dimensions.. Appreciate you watching 👍
