I had that combine at 4:15 way back in the day. My favorite was definitely the pink Lamborghini at 5:25. A lot of them were junk, but they'll serve a purpose in your junkyard diorama, so it's not a total loss.
I bought a box at a thrift store for $10 two weeks ago. My 3 yr old co picker loves them all. I did get one Redline, so it was worth it for me. Also got a bus from japan, a dune buggy from West Germany, 2 Yatming cars, one slot car body and 4 tootsie toy cars. Of course, numerous hot wheels and matchboxes.
6:04 This is how I get mine but they are transformed with TLC, paint and replacement decals. That gasoline truck had a green chassis, white tank and yellow cab. With three BP decals. Also, when the cab tilts forward, there should be the cab seats.
This video is so negative, 😂😂 I'm a girl and LOVE old toy cars. Some of mine look like these. I had to brake some open to put new wheels in them. I saved 5 of them. 👍🏼👍🏼 I love anything that's old. I'm 18 and literally living in the 1970s.
Margaret Pariera Good to start your collection on the low end and have what is enjoyable even if it's old beat up cars. Like Mater says in the Cars movie I say the scratches and dents gives them character
Im 14 and i love old hot wheels, majoretted and matchboxs better than new ones. wtffor also loves old toy cars but he wants to collect them on perfect condition. The "junkyard" isnt like he's gonna scrap the cars or something, its a kind of giantic diorama he has with all the bad condition old toy cars :P
+wtffor I really could care less if the car isnt good even in its beat up condition,i care and love them, just like i did all those years ago when i just got them, either if their mint or just "junk" i cherish them all,to make it short i love your video here, they just dont make toy cars like they used to back then!
That first ambulance looks like a Citroen DS, at 3:37 the yellow Matchbox car with the mad blown engine is a Ford Capri, 4:47 is a Matchbox Mk1 Ford Transit Dropside. Just the few I recognise, and checked online to confirm. ;¬)
I also have rare hot wheels from muscle cars with optional jack up rear ends to heavy equipment haven't had out for over 30 yrs but I still keep...I have a couple funny cars don the snake prudomme army and tom the mongoose old leather vette I wood only sell if got big money but a lot are warn cuz I played wen I was a kid so wheels are wobbley lol
I took one those old AMC Jeep Wagoneer Ambulance and turned it into a Jeep J10 Gladiator sadly I lost the darn interior lol but the bed and fender wheel wells turned out good lol 😀👍
5:05 “oof, this thing is ugly” Me: Then: “stupid trailer... oh! A __________! And he keeps throwing the cars on the table and making the condition worse
Simplesmente adoro estas "sucatas resgatadas", a surpresa de encontrar certas raridades de exemplares que foram muito utilizados é fantástica. Parabéns pela aquisição e vídeo. Muito bom.
In an older edition of Die-cast magazine, there was an article on how to make new hot-wheels/matchbox cars look old. I like the peeling paint scratched up look.
For the time being at least, the downtrodden diecast wrecks have served their odd purpose with me. I made a gas station junkyard, and some, a '60 and a '61 Ford Galaxie, a '62 Mercedes 220S, and a '32 Ford Model A Coupe, are the stars amongst an otherwise dilapidated yet still ripe for the enthusiast collector menagerie of tired old road eaters. The star of the better ones is a '40 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75, and is available with a straight body for $12,000.
cool cars there I havd a Golf with scratched up paint like that even missing the hatch and roof damaged a bit. I had repainted it like a Banger car or demo derby car
I agree I actually got the idea not the paint schemes but the idea of painting them up from a fellow diecast group member He has or had a website forget what it was but he had a lot of cars he made into banger cars. the diecast site we were part of has sadly also shut down
+Amanda Lonas That's so cool, I'm very happy to hear that! My videos will always be family friendly for those of all ages, and I'm sure your son will grow into a fine young man with a fantastic collection!
I AM 52 AND REMEMBER HOT WHEELS BY MATTEL , COMING OVER TO THE UK AROUND THE 1969 -70 ERA , TO COMPETE WITH LESNEY MATCHBOX SUPERFAST . MY PARENTS BOUGHT ME A HOT WHEELS TRACK IN THE CHRISTMAS OF 1969 . I HAD THE ONE WHERE THE CARS DROVE THROUGH THE CENTRE OF A MOTEL AND BURGER BAR , INSIDE THERE WERE 2 GIANT FOAM RUBBER WHEELS , WHEN THE CARS WENT THROUGH THE WHEELS , THE CAR WOULD PICK UP SPEED . BRILLIANT !!!
+wtffor Hello Sir do have toy cars that u don't like if u friend me can u send cars to me because I started a collection of toy cars n i see u don't like some of them. IF U LIKE THEM I UNDERSTAND SO BYE
I wonder how many stories these cars could tell when they were made when they were on the store shelf and all the stories on how they got tot this sad state rip die cast cars
I have a soft spot in my heart and a place on my junkyard table for old zombie cars like these ((; some people do not like to look at cars in this condition but if you've been a collector as long as I have your bound to own a few...
Lots of custom/restoration potential in those cars. If there's any you're gonna toss (which I doubt because you have a giant junkyard where these will probably go) just hit me up!
As I told you b4: I'd buy all those majorettes!! If you want to sell those Majos please let me know! You could insert in this lot that amazing truck (the "canadian oil" one from an older video) I'd appreciate that.. ha-ha.. I'm your fan man! I learn a lot from your videos.. thank you!
The video is a meant to be taken lightly, I was intending for it to be kind of funny. I still have all these cars, in the same crappy condition they were in this video.... boxed away for future fond memories
1:55 when all the cars decided to fall😂
Wish I had a friend like yours would be more positive about his gift.
I had that combine at 4:15 way back in the day. My favorite was definitely the pink Lamborghini at 5:25. A lot of them were junk, but they'll serve a purpose in your junkyard diorama, so it's not a total loss.
The enthusiasm is astounding in this video.
I absolutely love those finds. I'd still display those just like my mint condition ones.
That was a fun watch! Imagine the stories those old cars could tell!

Sergio Quintero you could care less?? How much less could you care?

That orange baja bruiser looks just like mine! Damage and all!
Those cars would be good for practicing customizing skills. Some of those cars needs to be restored especially the ones that is in mint condition.
So beautiful
i would love to have those cars too! keep and love em!
I will and I shall, thank you my friend!
Yeah
I really enjoyed seeing these but I'm not yet sure why. LoL. Must be some sort of nostalgia for my old collection.
4:55 I have that fire truck but it’s yellow in mint condition with some small paint chips.
Nice gift!
My favorite is DEFINITELY the Hot Wheels Fire Eater..!! LOVE that fire truck..

I love to watch videos like these knowing that children played with these. Nowadays you rarely see HotWheels being played with.
They might be beat but they are still neat
I know and for some reason I don’t know why but I like the cars from the 60s and 70s and maybe 80s and 90s
JoshTheCollectorGuy very True

Awesome! I love custom banger / derby cars and what better thing to do then with a beat up old Majorette, Matchbox, or Hot Wheel.
I agree I actually got the idea not the paint schemes but the idea of painting them up from a fellow diecast group member He has or had a website forget what it was but he had a lot of cars he made into banger cars. the diecast site we were part of has sadly also shut down

I like the worn out cars. They have more character.
I actually like old beat up diecast but you are absolutely right, those are trashed.
on the red car the door rolls to make it look like it was in an accident.
Cool Majorette ambulance. Looks like a Citroen.
+Terri Bel Bliss The old Majorettes were very cool, and somehow the chips don't detract from the model in my opinion.
