Fudgy Brownie Cookies

  • Ingredients
    120 grams Dark chocolate, I used Bakersfield chocolate buttons
    1/4 Cup Butter
    1 Large Egg
    1/2 Cup Brown sugar
    1 Tsp Vanila, I used Freach vanilla flavorade
    1/2 Cup All purpose flour
    2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
    1/4 Tsp Baking soda
    1/4 Tsp Salt
    Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
    Yield: 12 Cookies
    Notes
    -Make sure you give the egg and sugar a good whisk, you can use a hand mixer for around 5 minutes.
    -Use room temp ingredients
    -Store the cookies in an airtight container or ziploc bag for up to 5 days.

    I tried this recipe yesterday and it turned out to be absolutely delicious however my batter came out much thicker than shown in the video. It was tasty regardless!!

    Tried this just now with my American Home Electric Oven. I used the top and bottom heat, placed the tray in the middle and temperature is 165- 170°c! It's perfect

    I guess this recipe only works in convection ovens, I tried the recipe in 2 different ovens, one came out really terrible, it kept spreading but when I tried it in my convection oven it came out perfect.

    I tried this and masarap po siya, sobrang chewy and hindi sya masyaso matamis. Hindi ko nga lang makuha yung texture kasi lagi fail sa temp haha thank you 😊 may I ask po, dun po sa 12cookies, ilang grams po yun each? Thank you!

    Hi, I tried this recipe and it tastes amazing. However, the cookrts keeps turning flat and sticks on the greased baking paper, that cannot hold itself together.

    hi. i only have alkalized cocoa powder, would it be fine? since the recipe calls for baking soda, natural cocoa powder should be used... if i use alkalized would it ruin the recipe?

      Miss Shean, did you turned on both the top and bottom heat for the baking of the brookies? or just used bottom heat?

    Achieved perfect cracks but my cookies keep on coming out flat, di po siya kasing thick nung sainyo po, wonder what I'm doing wrong 😅

      Update: no more flat cookies, just add 2 tbsp of flour if you want your cookies slightly thick just like the ones sold at Korean bakeshops

    Hi! I tried doin it today, pero bakit po hindi ko nakuha ung pag ka cookies nya na itsura.
