  • The First of its kind in India- A unique integration of hen, fish, and hydroponics in a circular pyramid concept.
    ICPF is a method of farming in a combination of Vertical Hydroponics + Fish Culture + Poultry + Solar Energy. This creates a closed-loop where the organic waste of one activity is fed back into the system as an input to the other activity. In practice, it implies reducing farm waste to a minimum resulting in a circular system of efficient resource utilization. ICPF is a system that tries to imitate nature’s principle, where varied types of plants, birds, fish, and other aquatic flora and fauna can be integrated for production. These are combined in such a way and proportion that each element helps the other; the waste of one is recycled as a resource for the other through LEISA techniques (Low External Input Supply Agriculture).
    With this technology, Beegle Agritech has been heping farmers in raising Hens + Fishes + and Plants in Vertical Hydroponics Structure with very minimum space, water and manpower. In a conventional method, farmers can grow 25 to 30 plants in 25sq ft of area, but by using this ICPF model farmers can grow 105 Plants + 5 Hens+ 35 Fishes in the same 25 Sqft of area. With this method we have increased the productivity of farm by more then six times with diversified activity and all that with just 2000 Liters of water.
    The model helps farmers in getting diversified income, and higher returns with minimum operation costs. The method uses the waste of one activity as input to the other, the poultry waste helps in producing food fishes and waste from poultry and fish gets filtered and gets converted into nutrients for plants and water gets purified and returns back to the fish pond, hence we can grow crops without any synthetic fertilizers and chemicals. It utilizes zero chemicals and almost nary any external nutrient supplement, making it self-sufficient. This happens because the waste of one activity is used as valuable input for another. Further, due to its vertically stacked hydroponics and longer shelf life, many of the processing concerns can be addressed. But speaking about the elephant in the room, due to its very low maintenance effort, time and money, it is the most sought after technique by the youth of India. Its simplicity to create and the integrated circular system, makes it easier for our current farmers also to understand and comprehend.This model has been executed in one of the farmers field in Shivkote, near Hesargatta, Bangalore

    Very proud of you all, so happy to see educated young people get involved to make our world better. Here an idea to consider that to make this system more flexible and have better control that makes it detached system that consists of two or three loops instead of one loop shown here. Great job & cheers.

    Its great and innovative👍.
    But.. Will it be cost effective..🤔
    Like cost of installation.. And electricity bills with a pump that works 24/7
    U know what our farmers get in indian market..
    But still a great idea for small scale... And for people with less land to do farming.👍😊

    • @beegleagritech7866
      @beegleagritech7866  3 роки тому +1

      It is having high intial cost, and that will be the only cost for lifetime. And it gives you better ROI with 2 years of payback. Comming to electricity, it runs only 9 hour's a day with timings. Basically consumers very less electricity that what farmers otherwise would have spent on watering the crops in open condition in India.

    This looks like a very interesting agri system but might be more acceptable in urban or semi urban areas where there is shortage of space and as many are moving towards terrace gardening or kitchen gardening. I, for instance would like to try this on my terrace. Is it possible? Are there any specific temperature required to be maintained and how is water transferred to plants, as I could see any motor.

    • @HavyasKudupaje

      Yes...it can tolerate temperature from 15 to 32 Degree. Water runs through the system using Motar

      Yes Sir,
      Actually, fishes will not eat the chicken poop. Chicken excreta helps in production of zooplanktons and phytoplanktons in water, fishes feed on them.
      And the solid first will be removed as and then to keep water clean.
      Which doesn't effect fish taste in any form.

      @beegleagritech7866  3 роки тому +3

      Dear Peter, Hydroponics in general a highly capital intensive concept. But still its getting popular because. It will help you save lot of other cost. It require no tillage - No need to invest on tractor, It needs no weeding - No investment of hoeing tool, zero herbiside. It is easy to harvest - So need no expensive harveting machine. It saves you other farm operating costs like pesticides, as it is done within protective structure. less labour required, so the cost of increasing labour and labour shortage issues are addressed.
      Moreover all ,
      This microponics is much more beneficial than the existing hydroponics system.
      only cost for you is seed, Fingerlinks (fish), chicks - and feed for chicks. Rest all sustains using one another waste. so no feed cost for fish and fertilizer cost for plants.
      at the end of the day, what are these saved costs?
      Saved Cost is Earned Money
      The cost of investment varies from size to size,but the payback period is 2 years. What you earn after the second year is all your profit.
      Hope I have ansered your question

      I understand it looks like the fish will be dirty..But trust us the Fishes are absolutely clean and has no bad smell or taste.
      Let me explain you how and why?
      Firstly, Fishes will not eat the Chicken Poop. Chicken poop which are rich in Nitrate content will help in production of Zooplanktons and phytoplanktons - Microorganisms. And fishes will fees on them as they do in rivers and oceans.
      Second - Fish and polytry integration is an age old technology. It has been scientifically proved and fallowed in many parts of India and various other countries as well.
      Even though it looks disgusting, it not so in the reality.
