A good tip I learned in gymnastics - for a split jump. Practice split jumping onto an ottoman. Keep putting pillows or blankets on it until you can jump really high.
this is my favorite video to stretch with, every video i see everyone seems so advanced and knows how to do everything and she actually seems humorous and shows her struggles (not saying she isn’t good i didn’t know how to phrase it 😣)
I'm 18 and i've always wanted to skate, last yeat i was crying while watching someone perform so i decided i'm going to start once I transfer colleges so i'll be 19 when i start (wish me luck🙏)
Lol I love this. I stretch most days but I want something that's more specific to figure skating. Look forward to future videos but lol please wear pants that are a different color from the mat.
I love your videos so much! You are my inspiration! Do you have any tips on passing junior moves? I am STRUGGLING! (I’m juvenile girls btw) I’m doing a video test.
AH! Thank you for making this! I've recently started figure skating and look up to you so much! Thank you for making videos for us and trying your best!
Hy! Love your videos , next time can you do like a off ice training with core, jump, agility like a complet off ice routine it’s the summer period and my rink is close but I want to train and I don’t know what to do ❤️
I HAD MY FIRST LESSON 2 DAYS AGO!! I got some skates already cuz those rentals were HORRIBLE! But I don’t have skate guards yet or a cloth (is that ok)!! Also do you have tips??
@@cokepewpsiieverything in general, I’ve had one lesson but I’m not too bad. My teacher went off of a sheet and I knew all of beginner 1 before she even started!! So anything at all really helps
You’re going to want to get soakers as soon as you possibly can. Hard guards or rockers can wait but they are recommended if you walk around a lot in your skates off ice. Use soakers only to store your skates so they don’t rust 🫶
i have a beginner skating short you can watch (it's my most popular short lol) and you should make sure to at least get a towel to try your skates so they won't rust
Hi I need to ask u some questions about skating ⛸ because u made me like skating and I decided to start skating so the questions are: If u can't stretch what can u do as a beginner How can u bring a teacher How can u enter in competition And the last thing is Is it important to make makeup in the competition or not because I'm not used to it😅 Love u a looot❤❤❤
hii, im also a figure skater and thought i would answer:) by "bringing" a teacher i suppose you mean getting one, and for that i would say you should go to your local rink and ask trainers there if they are willling to teach you. you can enter comps once you are on a higher level (tbh i dont really know how bcos i do synchronized skating and my coaches arrange everything for the team) and no, it isnt important. some people do it to look good in the photos and videos and stuff but it doesnt really matter. it depends on what you like/want :)
This has humbled me in ways I have never been humbled before
the light leaves my eyes every time i do this stretch routine. thank you for this absolute torture that is a new part of my daily morning routine

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!! I’ve been having trouble forming a good stretching routine, and this really helped a lot!🫶
22:22 damn..
Is it actually good to become flexible (Im absolutly not flexible haha) or is it just like to stay active and in good form?
go for learning tricks and also stretching is good so you’re muscles aren’t tight which effects your performance :)
btw what are your favorite dynamic stretches!!
i’ll make a video!
