@@CarsonMW And I guess the Mets not giving Pete a contract extension caused another shitty throw in the infield. How many of those have we seen this year?
@@meazybx5043 And if you watch the video, you’d hear me not giving into his future getting into his head. I’ve made it pretty clear that Alonso has to play for the contract. Just because I believe he will (given no signs of slowing down of his raw power tool), doesn’t mean I’m an Alonso apologist. I always establish the reality of the situation, I never defend things not worth defending.
Food for Thought - The Mets are a Losing Team in 2024 so Far with Pete . Without him in 2025 will it Really Make Any difference ? Trade him Now Mr. Cohen .
The trade of PETE ALONSO, on the long run will be the worst move since the TOM SEAVER trade to the REDS in the mid 70's. You have to realize that strong righthanded power hitters like ALONSO don't go on trees. ALONSO is also a home grown product, he's hardly ever in the IL and is a very improved defensive first baseman. But, knowing how MINI MARKET STEARNS ticks he'll do everything he can to trade ALONSO. After all, he did trade one of the best closers in the game, JOSH HADER.
It depresses me to see young baseball fans buying into analytics nonsense: strikeouts aren't harmful, batting average is irrelevant, bunting and stealing bases is worthless, basically nothing matters but homers. To them a guy who can hit 40 homers is a god even if he bats .190 and strikes out every second at bat.
The mets need to move Alonso at the Trade dead line. 3 blue chip prospects. Then see if u could resign him but no way a decade deal.
John - good rant! Have you ever heard Don LaGreca's Ed Kranepool rant?
too bad they signed Lindor for life that contract is a lead balloon. Giant useless and going nowhere
once again Alonso doesn't come thru with a RISP, this guy is the worst, ZERO CLUTCH
Alonso needs to go. The guy is not worth what he's asking for!
Martinez and Vientos didn't come thru either. Pete's had plenty of clutch hits over the years. They all suck this year.
The Pete apologist panel!!
Disgusting!
You’re not gonna like the next episode then buddy
@@CarsonMW your probably right!

Mets just got Pablo Reyes from Red Sox who the hell is that more trash 😅
Game 2: Giants 7 Mets 2 - - - - Where are we at in the Countdown To Blow - Up ?
Is there ANY way that we can get rid of Lindor?
Maybe by absorbing half the remaining contract?
