  • This is a June 11, 2017 flight in my LS-3 from Moontown airport (my home airport) near Huntsville, Alabama. I team-fly with a couple of local pilots and then do some light stretching on my own. Cloudbase was a bit low (for my taste) for much XC, but we had plenty of fun, anyway.

@@EricCarden I didnt expect it lol. My dad was talking to a glider pilot out out 3m5 as he was cleaning up after a 6 hour flight. Just curious if that was you. Also, i was thinking about getting my Glider PPL in a couple years, how do you join the Huntsville Soaring Club?

@@m.s.aviation7065 It's possible that was me. Contact me at ericcarden72 at gmail dot com, and I'll get you some info about joining the club. Or come visit us Sunday. I'll be out there doing two place flights in our Grob 103 all day. For $148, you can get a half hour flight with one of our instructors and a three month trial club membership. Let's fly!
