The oven/ stove top looks so real! Great job restoring it! Kid's toys were made to last back in the day-no plastic! Thanks so much for sharing Maryellen's adorable setting!😊
Thank you! It was a bigger job than I had anticipated 😂 Yes, I agree, toys were made to last back then. There was something really special about them. Simplicity was key. Thanks so much for watching 💕
I love the 1950’s stuff, too. That’s so cool that you found a tub! I haven’t even thought of a tub. I bet it’s adorable. Thanks for sharing and watching 💕
These were a little before my childhood, but my husband and I used to go to flea markets, junk stores and antique stores and they were always fun to look at. Toys back then were really special. Thanks for watching 💕
A very cute model of a 50's cooking machines: makes me remember the one which my grandma had in her old house, with the difference that her one was not electrical, but wood supplied. The restoring is really well made, even if I suppose that now it can be used no more as a real cooker (the power cable had to mean that originally it could really heat); Anyway it looks perfect as furniture for the A.G. dolls. Very cute the fridge too.
Thank you for sharing the memory of your grandmother. My grandparents had a wood stove, you could cook on it, but it was used for heating. They had an electric stove for cooking. It was a disappointment to have to get rid of the electrical cord, but because of the rust inside of the oven we felt it would be safer to just remove it. I’m glad you liked how it turned out. I love Maryellen’s refrigerator. It’s retired now, but I’ve seen it for sale from time to time on the secondary market. Have a great day 😊
I posted another video: ua-cam.com/video/x3Fjws-eivQ/v-deo.html where my A.G. dolls are, for their first time, under the snow (rare event in my land); maybe it is not so interesting, but currently I don't have better ideas.
@@67luis64 I love the dolls in the snow. It’s so beautiful. It’s very picturesque with the dolls and the dusting of snow in the background. I really enjoyed the music, too! Thank you for sharing your lovely video 💕

It was a bit challenging, but I think it’s because I’ve never done anything like it before. It mostly consisted of cleaning, sanding, waiting for the right conditions to paint, waiting for paint to dry and then removing all of the tape. 😂 There was a lot of taping off of sections as well. That took some patience. It was frustrating to remove the tape and find unwanted paint underneath the tape. Then having to redo whatever area had the unwanted paint. The spray painting can be tricky if you’re new to it, but there are UA-cam tutorials that walk you through it. My husband knows how to spray paint so he most of it. The areas that had to be redone I did.😂 That was mostly because the taped area wasn’t done correctly. Whew 😅 I know that’s a lot of information, but I hope it’s helpful. Maybe you’ll decide to restore one yourself. They sure are cute! Thanks for watching 💕
