Aya Blaine, Chainsaw carving Artist, the James Log Project

Aya Blaine a Chainsaw Carving Artist carves a Bear with Cubs, Hummingbird, Deer with Fawn into a Live Oak Log on our Farm near Ocala, Florida in 2015. She only uses Stihl Chainsaws in her work which was done completely by herself. This tree which is about 3 feet in diameter fell during a strong wind storm. She is very detailed as you can see, really wants to please the customer. She also carved a Oak Stump at the same time. Quite the artist, thank you Aya! Her email is [e-mail],

As a bronze artist.. I so respect anyone who can carve... You make a mistake doing that... it's hard to recover.. I sculpt in clay.. I can re-a-just... Aya is one of the best in the world as far as I'm concerned. What a masterpiece
