Awesome video, my wife and I took a chainsaw carving class with Rick at Appalachian Art Studio for our 10 yr anniversary. We had a blast, really cool people and very interesting old town. We just missed the rendezvous, it was the weekend before we came, but plan on going up in the future to see the show! It's cool you have video to show all the great work that was there! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the video - I found it VERY inspiring !! I live in Ireland & do some old fashioned handtool woodcarving. Hopefully I may learn chainsaw carving in the future 🤞.
Where in the USA is the gathering held ?? Is it in the sane place & on the same dates each year ??
There were lots of outstanding works there. I especially liked the light coloured bust of the Native American man in a headress looking upwards. Also the female figures & the carving of Ganesh. The whale swimming & some of the other animals were superb too !!
Well done to the Organizers (lots of work, I'd say) & all the wonderful Sculptors !! "More power to your elbow !!" as we say here. Keep up the great work !!
