I have an 850 touring with a poly glacier, excellent setup. Been using it for years. I used to use it in my highlighter too. Still looks and works like new. And I feel like the ATV is better for visibility of plowing. I've never plowed with a sxs, but it seems like visibility would be 50% guesswork.
@@EC_ATV_OutdoorsIt’s not 50% guesswork. I use a sxs all the time and it’s easy. I’ve used both. For the area I have a sxs is way better than an ATV. ATVs are good though but they won’t push near like a sxs
@@pajamatime5750 I suspect a straight push goes better with a sxs. But Ive never come shirt on grip when it comes to an angled push. But I'll also say this, I have a tractor with a front loader and a rear blower A push blade, loader, and blower all have pros and cons. I end up using all three implements when the snow gets deep. But I have gravel, hills, and a dirt road as variables. When I had just a driveway, the plow was fine.
My friend just traded his in with 35,000 kms. He bought another. Btw New Brunswick has a ton of groomed winter trails, some ATV clubs have 2-3 groomers.
Why not offer a full cab unit like the competition ? They have been on the market for a while now . I know honda lags behind on updating product line but they are reliable and I am a fan
Do they offer a snowblower option? I'm from Northern Ontario, I now live in PEI. There is not a plow built for these that won't fold like a toothpick if it hits any of our 4 foot high, solid as a rock drifts that 80-100mph nor'easters create. I'm over 300 pounds and can easily stand on these drifts without leaving a footprint on top let alone break through, so plows simply don't work. We need a good slice and dice heavy duty snowblower on the front of these rigs. Who makes the best one? How much? Thanks and cheers from the Maritimes!
There is a 3 seater electric dump box 1000 HVAC unit on the market,it's 25000 dollars and it's not cf moto . Prices are out of reach for these machines and the manufacturers imaginary variety.
I always appreciate your candid reviews. Keep up the great work! Thanks!
I wish the roll cage was not so hideous on the Pioneer. It needs complete refresher in the worst way.
I agree, the cage is silly looking, like it belongs on a gator
Love these machines!!! See these with 15k miles on them. Just wish they would make one with cab with heat and air.
Right now I use my 2016 Sportsman 850 for snow plowing and the glacier plow system works good. One day I will have a sxs setup like this 👍.

Would you take the Honda over a Ranger North Star?
I would take a Northstar I think...

Great question! We'll investigate!!
Sounds like you need a tractor with a front mounted blower brother.

Just buy a used Cat for that
