  • ‪@KeishaBeTraveling‬ I've been living in Mexico for a year. I am currently on an adventure visiting different cities across Mexico. In this episode, I am still in Mexico and I am on my second day of the Hop on Hop off Bus Tour. Today, I am visiting, Polanco, the luxury district in Mexico City. This is the richest neighborhood in CDMX and you will see why. Come see me get abused by the branches in Mexico City, explore the flowers and gardens festival, eat at an amazing restaurant and get stranded in a part of town and have to figure out how to take the money home. Did I make it?

Hola, Mexico City feels cold because you just experienced the Heat in Mérida!

Hola 👋🏾 Yes, after 2 weeks of that 103 F heat in Merida, it was so strange needing a Jacket in Mexico City. I was there in April so it was a bit cooler then too but I’ll take that weather over the heat though 😂😂😂

HI was looking forward to your next posting....just hv a few questions if you dont mind...my questions are based on me assuming that you work remotely......if so i was curious regarding how you get by money-wise living in Mexico....do you hv a local bank that you use there? do you regularly do money exchanges for pesos? or do you mostly use credit/debit cards with your everyday living out there? thanks again for your time & videos

Hi, thank you for the support as always. Yeah, I work remotely so that’s how I support myself. In most parts of Mexico I’ve been, you can use you card pretty seamlessly. You can even use it at like a “bodega” type store and there are no minimum charges like in the US. I do often go to the ATM to withdraw pesos. I just use the ATM like normal and it gives you the money in pesos. Some ATMs will have a small transaction fee. It’s helpful to have pesos for things like cabs, street vendors, and small stuff but most places take cards here.
