  • I went to Taizzi and ate a few items from their dinner menu. I enjoyed my experience there and the staff and owner were SO beyond sweet and nice. They currently have 2 locations and a 3rd location is in progress. I look forward to going to their 3rd location when they open up. There's a lot of other rolls and more salmon that I want to eat lol. Hope you enjoy the video.
    Also please note: I've mentioned this before and will continue to mention, we all have different taste preferences. This video is just based on my opinion and personal taste buds (I'm just one person. Take what I say with a grain of salt) Something that I may like, you may find disgusting and vice versa

    Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Was there earlier this year. $36?? Wow inflation. But was so good. Mainly ordered sashimi. And big glass of wine was only $8. Thanks for sharing. Ps. Am going to skip Sushi Umi. Heard its gone way down.

      Riightt?? I was thinking it was a little higher than other AYCE by a few dollars, inflation for real lol. But yes I did enjoy it haha 😆 Wow wine for $8...nice! What kind of wine do you drink? Red or white and what's your favorite? I'll have to get some one day and feature it in my video just for you lol cause you keep talking about that wine 😅 and I'm hearing similar stories about Umi too

      @@ebutuoyebutouy Ooh wow less than $30 for dinner?! That's a really good deal especially for AYCE sashimi. Yes please, I'd be a frequent customer lol. It'll be interesting for me to get the Cabernet Sauvignon, I prefer white over red wine if I drink wine, but I do like tart mhm. Wow that speaks volume if your colleagues said that coming from a city with good food. Did you know they are in the process of opening their 3rd location? Somewhere in Cypress TX, I can't remember exactly where though

      Ooh I didn't know they also have bento boxes..I'll be full after the bento box though. I'll need to stick with sashimi to get my money's worth!

    Looks delicious!
    I heard that the food there is good, but the seating is very limited, and can't fit a lot of people.
    I need to try this place one day.

      They have 2 locations Sang and a 3rd in progress (somewhere in Cypress). I'm surprised you haven't been there since you're always the one giving me restaurant recommendations! Lol

    I only eat wild fish lol..tuna if it's pale in color it's wild because if it's red it's got food coloring added. That salmon def is farmed raised. Glad you enjoyed it though 😋

    • @ebutuoyebutouy
      @ebutuoyebutouy 3 місяці тому +2

      You are correct. But good wild caught so difficult to find. Affordable sockeye so often no good. And King salmon >$30/lb when you can get it. Ouch. Pre pandemic so good.

    • @HongtheFoodie
      @HongtheFoodie  3 місяці тому +2

      Ooh yeah that definitely makes sense! That salmon was definitely farmed raised but man was it some good farm raised salmon lmao (for AYCE). Where do you normally get wild fish at? Cause one day I went to a few grocery stores all in the same day looking for wild caught salmon. I don't mind eating farm raised lol 😆 but Thomas prefers wild caught fish so I wanted to get that instead for him. Or do I just need to go fishing haha

      @@ebutuoyebutouy I know right..we need these prices to go back down. Man King salmon is expensive! I don't know if I ever had that before. For that price I better feel like a King eating it lmao

      @@HongtheFoodie Go fishing lol...Yes indeed one way to get wild caught. I get my fish from Costco, don't mind frozen either as they are fresh frozen. Only sushi I eat these days are all tuna. That farmed salmon not the best feed either, just google it lol..I don't even touch the Costco farmed fishes either and they are from Norway. Pass on all questionable local supermarket farmed raised, probably from Asia somewhere

      @@brucewayne2773 Ooh gotcha, if I Google it I may stop eating it and I don't know if I'm ready to do that lol 😆 and I know right, about the supermarket farm raised. I've even seen some fruits from Asia. Heck, everything is from there lol

    Albacore is a tuna. Higher mercury so eat in moderation. And avoid white tuna, Escolar: its pure omega-6: banned in both Japan and Italy.
