From all I've read, this video series is as close to the real deal in so far as harpsichord making is concerned. I think this is from the Williamsburg harpsichord shop from the late 70s-early 80s. If you watch most of this, you could very much build your own harpsichord/spinet. Thanks!

A lot of things have changed when they made Violins. One of them was to replace the Gut strings w/ Flatwound strings which are more durable.
