Dylan so, so young and "baby faced." Love the early material & harmonica!

Bob Dylan is an invention by Robert Zimmerman. Tall tales are part of the creation as is the accent.

Is this where the myths and tall stories began to take hold?

reminds me of that cowboy "Rambling Jack Elliot" who often replied he was raised on a 69 mile ranch called, "Brooklyn"

To Elvis4221 and ramadama hoo below (maybe even Giada de Cavalieri, the third poster ever, with me fourth), he IS almost pathological, it seems.
The Hank Snow "poem" in H.S., stories of being Native American, and here verified proof of his tales untrue of working in Carnival's every summer since he was 13. Taking a poet's name, taking stuff directly out of a minimum of two or three novels (Jack London, that Yakuza guy's, forgetting I think other(s)), from old Time Magazine articles before the Google made even that findable.
The lawsuit by that Damiano guy for half a billion, a dozen or so years old, delaying to slay (he solicited this guy's songs for a decade, apparently...plagiarism the charge, one song Bob even called Dignity). There are the paintings, even...told the gallery folks they were things he saw on his Asian touring, only they were EXACT REPLICAS of other artists' paintings from decades and even a previous century.
**The thing HERE that got me was not only the great big fat carnival lies but how after Brand says he's going to play one that he is going to be playing in his upcoming first ever concert (at Carnegie, was it?), and Bob actually has a Freudian slip of some sort, it would appear, "Yes, this is one I learned--I wrote it".
I am seriously wondering if this young Dylan/Zimmerman, who took his voice directly from old hillbilly singers, his look directly from Mr. Guthrie and his name from the poet actually wrote this without lifting if from somewheres, or at least that's how it felt.

@@tmcsweeney3104 He did "Good Ship Venus' and "Frigging in the Rigging", which I'm sure is the version the Sex Pistols did. I'll have to confirm it with Jonesy.
