I have The Royal Road to Card Magic book, but my page 42 is different. What chapter is the trick in- they give Titles to each chapter eg "Flourishes", "The Key Card". Maybe I have a different edition . Anyway super easy and very effective trick- when I first saw it I assumed you had red/blak separated in the deck. Cheers mate.

I can’t get crimps to work for some reason; I’m 100% sure it’s my fault, but I just can’t make one work.
Make sure your deck is fairly new. If they are not, you will have trouble finding the crimped card.
