I see those cranes we sent down from Finland finally arrived.
Those that never made a mistake, never made anything!
👍
Well said.
It's not a mistake the first time,it's lesson learnt.
Very true, although i prefer the words the man that made no mistakes made nothing at all 👍
Exactly.
There were 3 ordinary humans restoring an old burnt out chateau, who by some miracle turned into superheroes on utube! We all saw it WOW !! Bless their holy cotton socks❤❤❤👏👏
I hope you put those ceramic medallions back again! They are really nice, and very much of the period, the Chateau was built. If a few are missing or damaged, they can be replaced! You'll most likely need replacement tiles for the hall floor anyway, so they can probably be found in the same places 😊
Love hearing Nick laugh & giggle like a big kid - it's wonderful 😊 xx
Came here to comment this, I perceive him as serious mostly so it’s great to see Brian make him laugh
I was gonna comment the same thing. Nice to hear him laugh and knowing he is genuinely having a good time with the guys as well...
I love the way the cranes flew a full circle around the Chateau as though they were saying, "That wasn't here last year!" 😊 Love Brian's 'nun/cross' joke too. 😂
You really are blessed to have two amazing workers, friends there on the job with you.
It’s amazing how quickly I’ve adjusted to a daily joke from Brian. No matter how good or bad. Hahaha. I’m
Here for it!!! 😂
Yeah. Mostly bad 🤣🤣
Love Brians jokes .Great to see Nick and Brian working and jokeing together .Good to hear Calvin will be back .Taje care all .🎉
Where's Melcom?
Dan you have 2 of the best friends working with you. The Chateau is looking amazing. You should be proud of what you've all achieved.
Those same two nuns are walking down the road side by side when a drunk guy staggers in their direction. They part to let the guy through and he goes:”Whoa! How did she do that?”
Please put back the turquoise tiles. They are beautiful !
@@cyngibson950 I seem to recall Dan saying they were going to be re-purposed somewhere else (I may have imagined that).
@@rsinuk9697he did but why take them out bin first place?
He said we will reuse them..
@@Redf322I think some were broken?
Glad you were able to save the turquoise medallions; they are the jewels in the crown. I immediately got the punchline in Brian's joke; maybe having gone to a catholic school as a kid?!?! Carry-on gents, you're moving forward.
Yeah looking forward to seeing Calvin again 🎉
The birds flying over was so cool
Just amazing to watch the Master Rigger, Nick.
A friend of mine was the rigger at Pinewood studios and "flew" Christopher Reeve in the Superman films. - 4 X 1mm thick steel wire that could then be erased in thr rdit suite
FR:
GB:
Hello, workers. I have looked carefully at this castle and between yesterday and today it is not the same. On the first videos, he was miserable and made me think of the little old people who, in a retirement home, slowly but surely die.
Today your castle has regained some of its former glory. Even if it is far from finished, an attractive soul and aura emerges again. He becomes majestic again and even the grus make a detour to greet him.
You are magicians! Thank you.
PS. je ne suis pas sûr de la traduction de grue en grus, désolé.
We’ve gone from a plane fly past to a Crane fly past. That was quite majestic. Bit like Nick and Brian abseiling onto the balcony. Like two (ahem) elegant swans …..
Especially the one that made a dramatic entry 🤣
😂
what a beautiful sight and sound the cranes are
They were chattering about the silly humans hanging from the building.
Please please put back the ceramics on the tower they are like jewels in the crown
the flared bottom of the roof with the wooden hangmen pieces will be gorgeous.
The frayed knot joke is my family's favourite 🤣🤣🤣
You just can't get enough of the construction of this magnificent building
I can just imagine the uncut version of this would be incredibly 'blue' and hilarious!
Those turquoise medallions in the turret are so cool. I hope you can put those back eventually.
At the very least, I hope he considers 3-D printing plastic replacements.
@@charlesyoung7436 They have ceramics factories in France that could recreate them. Plastic would be so tacky, and would not last.
I'm with you on the turquoise medallions. They're like jewelry for the building. Love them.
@@littlebitofhope1489 The ceramics factories will also replicate the original tiles for floors, fireplaces, etc. and textile mills will recreate fabrics. I had a mill in Lyon replicate upholstery fabric they'd originally manufactured for chairs made in 1910 and purchased by my great grandparents.
If you can’t re-manufacture them, make copper ones that would match the roof flashing and gutters.
I love Brian’s jokes!
Sorry, I dont understand a word from Brian, as a nonnative englishspeaker 😂 too much accent/mumble for me 😢 Dan speaks very clearly, I can understand everything ❤
I understand Brian and got the Cross joke immediately 😅
Brian, thanks for the chuckle. And Dan, you have me sold on the design at last. Thanks for the close up photo.
Love Brian's jokes -- and looking forward to Orange Pant Man joining you!
Awesome, salvaged more Teal tiles from the Turret. those wood shaped supports are great for templates👍👍🔧🛠️🔧. Be blesses ya All!!🙏🙏
Mistake(s)? No they are learning opportunities...!
5:30 the Geese squadron portents that Winter/Weather is on its way...Please, please, please put the beautiful square green diamonds back on the wall...!
Yes!
@@kpdvw Here's a learning opportunity for you -- those were not geese. FYI Geese fly in a "V" formation. Don't you listen to what Dan is saying?
They sounded like geese, they flew like geese and I bet they even popped like geese, close enough 😂😂😂😂❤
We have the Canada geese flying over going south! Good indication the weather is changing!
In Europe we also have geese flying from north to south, but this time that were cranes skein
9 seconds ago. Intuition on. Please save the ceramic decorations as they are used now. It really makes the tower look great. It's my favorite part.
I think if they do another live stream people will spam the chat about those tiles, they really need to go back in😢
My theory/hope is that he is getting these recreated in glass. By day they will look exactly like they originally did. By night, they can be backlit by LEDs and will make the tower look amazing.
It is both a pleasure and fun to watch the 3 of you guys make extraordinary progress on such a complex project. Best regards!!
You three are bloody amazing! ❤❤❤
SO glad you're replicating all the lines of the roof. Can't wait to see how the 'carved' supports tie in to the structure.
One mistake out of how much done beautifully?
Your desire to not settle for anything but the best you can do is so inspirational.
❤
Brian, I was taught by Irish nuns, The Sisters of St. LOUIS, in grammar school at OUR LADY OF MALIBU. Loved your joke.
Great joke again, Brian. Keep 'em coming.
Those wood bits looked like a right bugger to get out. Congratulations on a job well done.
Cheers
Nick came to help Stephanie & there you were too.....who would have thought here you'd be years later... using skills & courage few men possess to tackle this monumental creation.....
Dan knew Nick from before. He was the one who introduced him to Stephanie
O my goodness.. that was funny! Love the guys working like that, with fun and laughter!💋
A great reason to enjoy Mondays😊
This part is so fun for me! I love watching Lady Chateau come back to glory and her roofline is so elegant, I am happy you all want to preserve it!❤
Always exciting! Thanks for a picture of the original turret from below. It appears that the turquoise embellishments were sorta hidden by the turret roof.
It was refreshing to see Brian and Nick having fun. Looking good Dan!
Just amazing , no other words !! 🤗
love those blue,greenish ceramic bits!
Great video. Those two work so well together, they should be tied together all the time. 😄 Looking forward to watching you form those brackets. Loved the sedge of cranes, you make me look up new words all the time. The old me would just have called it a flock. Thanks for sharing.
This takes the fenomen " hanging around" to a new next level! 🤗
Welcome to the new GB Olympic training camp. Altitude training a speciality 😂
Brilliant video in every sense. Amazing production, filming and editing.. the best channel by far.
« Like a Guinness turd » I need a T-shirt with that on !! 😂😂😂
Irish 7 course meal?
A 6 pack of Guinness and a baked potato.
🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🥖
Now I got it
It's the ham sandwich that really makes the Guinness turd happen.
I imagine Calvin has been following your progress from wherever he's been, but it'll still blow his mind completely to see it with his own eyes. I bet he'll be chuffed to bloody bits to do things other than dig in the dirt with a shovel for weeks this time round.
Like the frog getting out of the well. One frogging mistake then a big leap forward!
Funny New England carpenter story, this time of year the Canadian Geese begin their migrations, one of my friends who got me the job is talking to me by the dumpster as a huge flock of them come flying overhead. My buddy looks up and says "Watch this!" he takes his hammer out and hits the dumpster with 3 times in quick succession, like a hunter firing a shot gun. The entire flock of geese immediately all rotate 90 degrees on plane in unison to avoid the buckshot that they thought they just heard coming their way. Smart birds and to do it all in unison there had to be 30-50 of them in formation, way cool and kinda funny. No geese were harmed in this story, just a little frightened perhaps. Never forgot that, and that flyby just reminded me!
You are blessed Daniel with Nick and Brian. Just take care, safety first.
The birds came by to say hi and see you next year !!!
Hope all had a great weekend. Got rested, had some fun time. Stay safe
There are no mistakes there's only happy accidents. 😄
Absolutely life is all about serendipity ❤
Sometimes it's not very happy.
Bob Ross was a great man.
@@Flornmonk he sure was!
Nailing it to PERFECTION in France!!!
The Birds, The Birds‼️🙀 Wow‼️
A guy on an airplane is doing the crossword in the in-flight magazine. He turns to his neighbor and says "What's a four-letter word ending in -IT for a substance found at the bottom of a birdcage?" He replies "GRIT". Behind them, one nun turns to another and says "Do you have an eraser?".
😂
😂
😂
😂
😅
So there’s a British guy and an Irish guy hanging off the side of a chateaux and the one says to the other …
... perhaps Nick had a point!
Did you fart????🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
... "When I said send CRANES, I meant the ones that lift stuff up on roofs"
Two nuns were driving down the road, and saw these two fellows hanging from a chateau turret. One nun says to the other, Quick sister, show them your cross lest they fall down to the ground! The other nun rolls down her windows and yells, Get down, you idiots, what the **** are you doing up there?

That's about as funny as Brian's joke! Keep 'em coming, Brian!!
Mistakes happen. Corrections happen after.
Greeting from Southern California. Nice to see the team at work!
I'm hopeless at remembering jokes, that one is memorable, and funny !
Very dangerous work getting all the wooden blocks out.
Well done
Brian, Nick & Dan
The Crains,
flocks of birds leaving France,
Yes, Dan the birds leaving signals the season ending.
Winter cold weather will start to begin.
Sadly, for most of us, this is how we learn. Sure itll be grand😊
Nice!
Keep the Irish jokes coming. I have almost got to the point of laughing!
funny how it doesn't look like as much of a special building without the turquoise bits, really doesn't look the same
Progress is slowing down but, safety is going up! Really nice progress!
It's amazing to see how much you have done on this section in quite a short time, really.. fingers crossed for the weather.
This is for your funny guy.
A child asked his father, "How were people born?"
So his father said, "Adam and Eve made babies, then their babies became adults and made babies, and so on."
The child then went to his mother, asked her the same question, and she told him, "We were monkeys then we evolved to become like we are now."
The child ran back to his father and said, "You lied to me!"
His father replied, "No, your mom was talking about her side of the family."
😂
This is great😂
🤣😂🤣😂👍
Always better to have prepped for something & not need it than vice versa.
This is a dad joke channel now, and I’m all for it.
It's an IRISH dad joke channel!
So funny to hear the conversation between you guys. "a Guinness turd" , "You're not too short, the chateau is too tall". Made me laugh. The chateau is looking so great. So happy for you Dan.
Thank heavens, for a second there I thought you put the top-most tower structure on the wrong building.
The entertainment is awesome.....you are all making the most of the time to have a laugh while you work, which helps the time pass...Jokes are always great.
The tower will look amazing with the flared roof😊
The cranes were majestic
now you have the crane migration time table till bad weather. You 4 gents are all outstanding craftsmen and workers. Dried in for the winter weather will be fabulous, So Much progress in this past year, amazing. Best Wishes.
Mistake?! You mean: “design change”
Love Brian's jokes!
Good morning guys😀😀
Absolutely loved seeing the cranes flying overhead! So cool!
Incredible progress! Yes, the clock starts to tick once the cranes and geese fly. I'm sure you'll have the roof on the turret before Halloween. Brian, thanks for the vampire and Irish nun joke - my sister loved it, thanks! 😂
Nick and Brian hanging in the harnesses with Nick watching what's going on. Mistakes? we've all made them and it takes a special kind of person to admit they made mistakes and correct the problem and move on!
@5:30 Here's one for Brian: Do you know why on a 'V' flight of geese, one side is longer? Because there's more birds in it.
With such a big project, there sure to be some mistakes along the way
Brian…that was the best one yet!😂😂😂😂😂😂❤
Love the banter lads , and especially Brian’s sense of humour. The Crane fly over what can one say…..go well lads. Kiwi NZ
You guys are absolutely amazing!!!!!! Look forward to watching every nite.....thank you😊
make sure the edge of the wood knee falls below the edge of the stonework to act as a drip edge
Sounds like you've got a new spring in your step Dan! 🤞the weather holds out for a few more weeks.
I used to live in San Francisco and there was an Irish bar on my block with Irish regulars. One of the guys was like Brian, an encyclopedia of jokes, limericks and puns. Was a great way to unwind after work.
Hi guys. Wishing you a wonderful day from Michigan 👍💪❤
Calvin's been doing a countdown to his return I thought that was what it was. I hope you will consider making windows to put them in while you have it open before you wrap it up for the winter. Will save you time and work later on.
I thought he was going to say, two nuns walk into a pub and order a ham sandwich and Guinness.😂
Thank you Dan, I needed this.
Be safe out there guys.
Once again, good you have Nick to keep you all safe!
Teasing... this is what you get for having high quality standards, tight fits and solid construction skills! 🤪
