    Join vCenter Server to an Active Directory domain (vsphere 7.0)
    1. Prepare
    DC1 : Domain Controller(Yi.vn - 10.0.0.1) | DC10 : Domain Member | DC9 : iSCSI Server
    ESXi01 : ESXi Server(10.0.0.150) | vCenter01 : vCenter Server(10.0.0.151)
    2. Step by step : Join vCenter01 to Yi.vn
    DC1 : Create a Computer named vCenter01 and a record DNS vCenter01 point to 10.0.0.151
    Server Manager - Tools - Actice Directory Users and Computers - Yi.vn - Services OU - Create a new Computer object named vCenter01
    Server Manager - Tools - DNS - DC1 - Forward Lookup Zones - Right-Click Yi.vn - New Host (A or AAAA)...
    Name : vCenter01 ; IP address : 10.0.0.151 - Tick 'Create associated pointer (PTR) record' + 'Allow any authenticated ...' - Add Host
    DC10 : Join vCenter01 to Yi.vn
    Rename vCenter01 to format domain Yi.vn (vCenter01.Yi.vn)
    Open browser - Logon vCenter Server Management : https:\\10.0.0.151:5480 - logon use root - Networking tab - Network Settings - EDIT :
    2 Edit settings - Hostname and DNS - Hostname : vCenter01.Yi.vn - DNS Settings - Choose 'Enter DNS settings manually' : 10.0.0.1
    3 SSO credentials - Enter administrator@vsphere.local and password
    4 Ready to complete - Tick 'I acknowledge that I have made a backup of my vCenter Server and...' --- Finish
    Join vCenter01 to Yi.vn
    Logon vSphere Clien : 10.0.0.151/ui - logon use Administrator - Menu - Administration - Single Sign On - Configuration - Identity Provider
    Active Directory Domain - Join AD - Domain : Yi.vn and enter account has permission join domain for Yi.vn - Join --- Reboot
    Logon vSphere Clien : 10.0.0.151/ui - logon use Administrator - Menu - Administration - Single Sign On - Configuration - Identity Provider
    Active Directory Domain --- Joined to Yi.vn === OK

    I do same but after reboot i see "The node didn't join any Active Directory." Something is bagging :(

    Does the vcenter root account still accessible after joining AD? if yes, how?

    Please help me fix error : [400] An error occurred while sending an authentication request to the vCenter Single Sign-On server - An error occurred when processing metadata during vCenter Single Sign-On setup: the service provider validation failed. Verify that the server URL is correct and is in FQDN format, or that the hostname is a trusted service provider alias.
    I cant add domain to my vCenter

    I get error java.lang.reflect.invocationtargetexception when trying to join within vshpere
