Technically it's a 88mm sabot (128mm outer casing with 88mm round inside of it. You can see in the kill feed it shows up as 12,8/8,8 . This round has even more pen than the 128mm. I liked where he shot the light tank and only the turret ring was damaged, bruh!

@@ansgaryeysymontt7155 i actually survived some dumb constant bombing(planes) with the maus and only got traction blasted like wtf, other tanks for sure they would have died, even the strongest ones(meaning other heavys like kv2 maybe, some jagphanter or brumbaar from front?, maus is the heaviest below 8.0), but this one you need to drop on top and it's not even working for sure under some bomb weight. You need to be lucky tho, but it happen.

Maus is great if you play it like the Maus isn't supposed to be played, I play mine like a glass cannon and end up doing real good with it since I consider any hits that didn't kill me to be mistakes rather than my armor actually working.

The 75mm ammunition basically just kills you, its there on the side and explodes, while its (almost) useless, the 128mm ammo is stored on turret/below it
Funny how the spawnkill system works for the enemy, but when I respawn, I can instantly die. Literal 2 second life. Gaijin is wonderful.

I remember it surviving any bombs below 1000kg directly and any rockets (havent played since CCVL event) but now, not sure if those are gayjined clips but it seems a lot more vulenrable to those means, which sucks cause that's the most appealing feature of that vehicle, steady frontline pusher, impervious to anything but heaviest ordinance. Guess CAS players cried enough so they nerfed the only upside it had.

Watch the news near the end of the month, it should become available to research. You need to have Germany rank 5 ground unlocked though (= have i think 6 rank 4 ground units for Germany). When it becomes temporarily available you have to put a single research point into its progress, because then you can finish the research and buy it anytime after the event ends.
