#32 The National "Santa Clara"

O Coliseu do Porto estava ainda vazio e longe da azáfama habitual em dias de casa cheia. A cidade corria ao seu ritmo próprio: àquela hora, uma boa parte daqueles que tinham em sua posse um bilhete para a grande noite estavam ainda a despachar as últimas tarefas no local de trabalho, a cumprir os últimos rituais de preparação para o concerto, a ouvir pela última vez algumas das canções esperadas para o alinhamento, a equilibrar os níveis de expectativa para o encontro com os National, uma banda que goza em Portugal de um culto crescente e plenamente justificado. Antes de as portas se abrirem para o grande público, Matt Berninger e companhia quiseram também abrir-nos as portas para partilhar com o auditório da Videoteca Bodyspace uma rara interpretação de "Santa Clara" (do EP Mistaken For Strangers, editado em 2007) entregue a meia-luz para fazer justiça à escolha da canção. E com os corações ao alto. Até se sente a magia no ar.

@Linus117 I think the whole troll thing was to just let woody win and be done with it. In his other videos he states that the conflict between him and woody puts un-needed pressure on Machinima and other people he knows. He's above and whatever he did, it worked. He probably had some help from Nigerian witch doctors though.
