I bought the CVO St. And after having it for a few months, it's worth it to me. I ordered a Corbin seat to get more room and full-size floor bards for more comfort. I test rode a CVO Street Glide and preferred the st motor over the VVT model. Nice review.
The cubic inch game among HD riders is synonymous with the biggest and baddest pit bull in the projects across America. My old '57 FL has carried my ass several times coast to coast. I'm old now (70)and got soft so I long distance on a Dyna instead of rigid frame.
Excellent review and walkthrough of the bike. Always great content! I keep going back and forth trying to justify the extra cost. Your review made it that much harder. I love the heritage but I’m tempted to let it go.
Torque is a component of power in a rotational system. What you are seeing is linear power. When the power makes a straight line up and to the right, it creates a flat torque graph. It's just math. Electric motors are super efficient. The linear power they produce causes a perfectly flat torque graph too. When you twist your throttle the bike doesn't create torque for a while then create power for a while. The fuel in your tank is energy. The rate at which that energy is converted to heat when spark plug makes bang is the engine's power. The plot that makes over the rpm range tells you everything there is to know about what's happening when you twist the throttle. Knowing the torque is important for those making gear boxes. To us riders, it's irrelevant.
@@2147crewdid you know KromeWerks is the maker of the Harley black chrome pipes? They patented the color and call it Eclipse. I ordered their 4.5 HP+ slip ons for my 24 CVO. Look them up as they have several options in the Eclipse color Volunteer Audio is a great KW dealer too
These have been out how long? I have seen 1 of them on the road. Most likely they are in the shop and getting bought back cause they are garbage. Don't get me wrong though, there may be one or two good ones out there. All those electronics are built for the weekend warrior or the guy who rides to the local bar.
I bought one too and I ALMOST agee with you. Having traded a 2000 SG cvo I gotta say… The old bike looks better. I think it had more street presence. Secondly don't you think the build quality is lower? Rg. Bag lids so flimsy now. Speaker grills is another area where you can feel they are not as ‘ solid’ as the 2020. The list goes on but suffice to say you can definitely see where economies have been made... Don't get me wrong Im happy with it but I have to say doesn't make me grin like my old one.
I’m pretty sure that these bikes are lighter than the previous generation bikes, not heavier. Someone gave you bad information. The 2023 Road Glide weighed 853.2 lbs, the 2024 CVO Road Glide weighs 837.8 lbs. You have it reversed the new bikes are much lighter.
I'm just gonna say this I'm not a subscriber. However, why people complain about the price of a motorcycle. If your heart or wallet desires a particular type of motorcycle, then it's your choice. Why second guess.
Not about worth it as much as is it a smart move for guys like me and you. It don’t matter what they put on the bike from the factory. Sooner or later i’m pulling shit off and customizing it to my specs. It’s just coming and I know it.
Harleys are overpriced as it stands, nevermind the CVO They are only focused on a very narrow market of people, those that can afford them. If theyd stop price gouging and make their product affordable, I truly feel they would monopolize the bike market as a superpower. Until then, the average Joe will go pick up a Vulcan or Rebel 1100 for $12k.
CVO is a Waste of money. Buy base model for travel and a sport bike for performance. Don’t try make something that it’s not. BMW Bagger 160 HP stock will run circle around CVO.
Everyone knows HD adds $6K worth of parts and charges an extra $18K on a CVO. The Silver paint is not a big fan favorite. Hey HD!! If your going to charge $18K more for a CVO at least paint the damn thing vivid black. The only reason HD came out with VVt is to bow down to EPA. No one gives a damn about an extra 2 mpg's. Scrap the VVT and just go straight to the 121 CVO ST motor. You know. The motor everyone really wants. Rant off.
Obviously live never tried to up spec a normal Harley to CVO level. Matt Laidlaw has a good video on this. The CVO is actually a bargain in comparison.
Let me be a little clearer. We all get if you buy the parts from HD and have them install them its cheaper to buy the CVO. What if you dont like the CVO colors? $6K upcharge for fancy paint is pure HD greed. All CVO's should have fancy paint. The jury is still out on the VVT. Its new tech I really like the new fairing and the new headlight seems to be a lot brighter than the old one. The big deal with the CVO seems to be the inverted forks. I think the 23.5 silver CVO is a good deal at $35K
I bought one and no looking back. Very happy with my decision
Congratulations!

The CVO ST model is nice! Well put together.
Is the Corbin worth the money? I'm looking at one. I've got the Sundowner from Harley, but want an upgrade.

That’s great to hear! It’s all about riding and enjoying the ride my friend.
Sounds like your plenty tough now also. Safe riding.

Wow there are so many salty people in this comment section, if you can’t afford it or don’t like Harley then don’t buy one. Simple😂
Dude, I shust did the first oil change on my Road glide since I bought it. I think I bought it before you buy yours red one. 😅
lol
Gorgeous bike, definatelly more expensive than 2024 RG CVO ST... You do know you can remove that ugly plastic cover from the side covers correct?
Thanks. Yes. Sir.
@@2147crew Anytime Crew, cheers from AZ. Hope we can ride someday!
Is this. 2024 CVO RGST CVO? Please compare that

What are your thoughts on the stock CVO exhaust? Planning on upgrading like the 24?
I will. I like the look though

Every CVO needs to come with north of 150 hp and 150 ft./lbs for the price they rape us with.

I can see your point. However, that’s probably across the board now a days. I remember the cars in the 50’s and so on were built like tanks. lol.
