Well bro, I was recently riding mostly 125ccm 2 stroke dirt bike before that and could do it so so.. anyway since I switched for this it started to be whole new story and after 3 months I am here. Recommend you to try it from 2nd gear with clutch hit and try to go for „turn and keep” throttle. Doesnt mean to keep it full of course 😅. I used to do wheelies by aggresive throttle twists which is also way, but better and smoother u learn it by raising the front wheel up and trying to keep speed. 1st or scnd gear. Last thing I can tell you is to be ready for the rear brake when it goes too hard on the back but usually in this case most of people mess it up anyway 😅
Sit as far back as you can and give her a slight yank when you pop that clutch she’ll come up but dont yank on the bars too much or you might turn em mid air if you land with them a little crooked you can get a mean tank slapper for a few seconds….. not fun😂
Also this guy power wheelied a few times no clutch needed just bring the rpm’s up a bit in second gear and quickly close the throttle allowing your front forks to compress and rip that throttle back

Well, this xsr was from 2016 and had not traction control
no tc on xsr at least not till '22 there is only abs.
