If you're taller than six foot make sure you get a tall monitor arm. One that goes above 50cm tall. Most monitor arms I've seen go to about 40cm fully extended which will still leave you looking down and pulling your back. Took a lot of time to find one for me that works. Love the video!

Super clean setup, the monitor looks great but that top bezel just kills it for me and if only the laptop mount was hidden under the MacBook (making it look floating would be sick!). Also have 1 or 2 wires showing a little just like yours in my desk setup.. still working out the best way to cover those.

i love the off center mounted monitor (monitor arm off center but monitor center) i have it on my setup too :)
Apple's display, thankfully some big UA-camr is talking about it at last. Though I'm using an LG 34" UW myself, I can get the same multi-window experience bundled with the much need vertical space & obviously high resolution in the 32" 4K displays. And hopefully, only if apple releases one or the LG Ergo is the best alternative I think.

I have the same setup. However when plugin the ethernet cable (1gb fiber connection) directly to the monitor I don’t get the full gigabit. Only if I connect the ethernet adapter directly to the Macbook. Wonder if this happens to you too. Thanks 👌

I'm so with you on the high resolution displays, as soon as I went to 4k I couldn't go back. Even my 2k secondary monitor feels like it needs an upgrade

I have a 16” Intel MBPx would that fit just fine on this monitor mount? If it’s ok for a 15.6 like the posting says... I wonder if the 16” would work as well.

I got a question, I got my MacBook plugged into a monitor with the lid shut. If I have my MacBook plugged into the monitor and MacBook is charging, will my MacBook battery still get. damaged because the computer is left charging while the battery is at 100%?

I guess not many manufacturers have come up with 5K or 6K displays because they require a bandwidth USB-C (10 Gbps) can't handle, and very few devices have Thunderbolt 3 ports. Probably this will change with USB 4.

Thanks for the video, it helped me to understand why I do not like Macs whatever performance they shown. You simply limited to possibility of the computer you bought. You can't change anything. Some people like it, but some do not.
