The FlareCON™ Air utilizes cell phones and tablets and turns them into wireless DMX controllers. It works with all CHAUVET® DJ Freedom series fixtures as well as all D-Fi™ products for versatile control over your rig.
The built-in Wi-Fi™ transmitter connects with cell phones and tablets running the FREE FlareCON™ app, to allow the user to control the connected lighting fixtures. Hey Mike, great video. I just wanted to thank you for putting me on to the flarcon. I love this thing.. Also wish i saw your video b4 i watched the Chauvet video on how to set it up cause i had exactly the same problems you did.. I also picked up an Obey 6 & it works great with the flarecon cause i can switch back & fourth with a push of a button & have complete control of my hex 4's with my controller in (dmx) or push the button again (wifi setting) & now im walking around the room with my phone or tablet.. Its awesome.. Thank you once again...

Thanks man, I never changed my DMX channel on the lights to 1, I only changed the Wi-Fi channel to match the FlareCon Air and wondered why it kept diverting back to my last setting on the lights! Thank you for the vid!

Thanks mike! I just bought 9 Par Hex 4 and got them working with your video, I have a question maybe you can shed some light on. Lets say you are doing a gig and you want to be able to keep a static color during say a ceremony but after want to get the lights into "party mode" how can I do that? The app doesn't allow you to tell them to respond to music etc. How would I get it to also be in sync with all the units ie same color in party mode I assume that would be master /Slave kind of setup but how can I do that wirelessly? would I have to physically go to each light and tell it to stop looking for the falcon air and switch to music etc. The manuals are super confusing. Thanks for any insight!!
Hi Mike, know you did this video a long time ago. Wondering if you could tell me if the FlareCON helps keep lights in sync. I recently bought a bunch of the new chauvet h-1s and as soon as I master Slave them for sound active mode I have the lights going out of sync . Wondering if the FlareCON would help with that? Maybe a stronger transmitting signal?
Hey Dj Mikey Mike. Love the video's you make they're awesome. I have a question. I just purchased a uplighting set from eBay. It came with 8 American dj p36 lights the chauvet obey 3. Do you think this could be used for uplighting at a wedding. Also how many surge protectors will I need to run this lights.
Looks like the American DJ P36 LED should be a nice place to start and they look like they will work with the Obey 3 MM
SOOO, there is no way to use the flarecon app without the flarecon air?? so if i don't have the air i still have to connect dmx cables in between lights?? please help... thank uuuuu
Hey Mikey good review however is this still the best in the market today? also doesn’t let you set the lights to sound mode does it so you can incorporate it into your light show during the party ?
I feel it still great...not sure about sound mode as I only use them DMX
