Yup, there's a whole " Horizon " server for this game and Up Your Arsenal. You can play on actual PS2 hardware just like in the 2000's or you can play on PCSX2 emulator (PS2 emulator) on PC. The cool part is that both of them share the same server so it's crossplay. And they also have tons of custom maps and quality of life improvements that the originals didn't have. And yes, those changes are also accessible on PS2 hardware not just for the emulator users. I think you have to use a 40GB PS2 HDD (think FF11) or maybe you have to use a regular USB flash drive, I can't remember.
