Damn did they fired the animation director for the remake or something, fm 3,4, and 5 have such an amazing mech motion, and the battle animation is fantastic, seamless and cinematic, the fm remake felt like a downgrade in that aspect
FM5 was absolutely the best in the series. Story-wise each installment is great, but when it comes to gameplay it isn't even competition. Maybe FM3 (at its time) was somewhere close.
