Thank everybody for watching the video . Creating content for the fishing genre is pretty hard. Every trip has to be productive or you don’t really have a video. Tolerating the ads, leaving comments, and giving us a thumbs up is so appreciated. Couldn’t do it without you guys. Wouldn’t even want to.
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas‼️🎄🎁
Wow what a day for you and the Kid! GFY
Wait till you see what we did a couple days later!! Video coming soon
New drinking game.. take a drink every time I say that’s a good one 🤣
🤣
that kayak is dope !!!!! i need that!!!!!!!
Appreciate it, put a lot into getting those ready
Looks like a lot of fun ❤
Thanks for watching buddy!!
I always knew you two Jokers would link up
We’ve been fishing together for a few years.
just purchased an autopilot 120 that was $1,000 cheaper than MSRP at Scheels, not brave enough to take it up into the creeks yet but your videos are tempting me to check it out!
Don’t be afraid, you’ll love it
They were LOADED in that creek. Nice one bro!! Heading out in the a.m.! 🎣
Yes sir, hundreds of em
Texas is gonna run out of fish with the top dawg on the water lol. Awesome day Terry.
We do good! Work hard at it too
Hey… I might be telling you something that you already know but it took me awhile to figure out. I noticed that when you use your Stinky Pants clip, you always take the end of the stringer and stick it through the hole at the end of the clip to secure it. …..If you squeeze the clip, you can then slide the stringer between the opening in the clip ( anywhere along the stringer)
Enjoyed, wish we had creeks like that here in NM.
Where you at in NM?
@@BarFlyFishingTexas Albuquerque. This time of year to the north is freezing up, so I go south, Elephant Butte Reservoir.
Very nice crappies
Thank you for watching
💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks for watching!!
Love the new kayak! What livescope mount are you using for your Oldtown?
Fishfindermounts.com
when your not finding them your casting and tightlining is much more effective.
Casting is most effective if they are on bottom
What’s the clip you are putting on the end of the stringer and where can you get one
Saludos amigo
would definitely have to go on a kayak trip with you if I was there. That looks like so much fun to cruise around on. What does it cost for your kayak setup?
Nearly 10K each. Boat, Batteries, Electronics, accessories.
if you havent man can you make a video of your kayak set up . @@BarFlyFishingTexas
That aint a busy or pressured creek. its loaded with crappies and probably white bass too try fishing the san gabriel in central tx near austin now that is a busy/pressured spot.
Yes sir, we caught White Bass all day. I just didn’t show that.
We didn't film all the kayaks and boats out there. It was worse than it looked
If you don’t mind me asking what are your settings on your livescope? I can’t get detail like that in shallower water like y’all were in
Out of the box settings? I just change the forward range, and the clarity.
@@BarFlyFishingTexas yes like tvg, ghost, range, etc
would love to see a video on the kayak setup! are you using the garmin uhd2 93sv?
Yes. 93SV UHD with the GT54 Side, and LVS34 Panoptix transducer.
is the gt54 mounted on the same pole mount as the lvs34@@BarFlyFishingTexas
@@danielgilmore89 no the old town has a place for Sign imaging and down imaging transducers to mount underneath the kayak in the middle of the Stern
how are you rigged? rod and reel and what line? thanks.
Purecrappie.com Rods Reels and Suffix 6lb mono high Vis. I make the jigs that I use.
What trailer is that? Super cool
It’s a Custom one off trailer, built by Nick over at Fish TX. He’s in glen, rose Texas. You can find him on Instagram. He will build whatever you want. We went back-and-forth for about a month on this one before we got it right. It’s really sweet.
It is super cool and looks very functional. Thannks!

What did you mean by overly fishing a spot? Esp if they are biting and what would you miss out on?
☝🏾 Just curious btw..
It’s really hard to explain but, the fish can be right on the bottom or they could be up suspended, they could be hiding in the brush or just swimming in the open. Sometimes they’re sitting in the open not swimming at all. If you look at them with forward facing sonar, and you see the skinny side of the fish, you can’t tell they are there, but you move around and look at them broadside, and you see a whole bunch of them. If you’re not really thorough, you could really miss out on some good fishing I have learned that the hard way using Livescope. I have looked at areas and did not see fish, moved 5 feet and looked again and saw 20 or 30 of them. In the same spot. It’s all about perspective and you have to be super thorough or you’ll miss out on a lot of fish.

All makes sense. Thanks for the breakdown 🥃
Dammit!!!!! I"ve been trying to catch crappies for 3 trips now and all i keep cathing are bass, pikeminows, bluegills and stripers. Why can't i catch freakin CRAPPIES!!! lol
Crappie can be easy and hard. I’ve had plenty of skunk trips too!!
Where did you get that stringer clip
StinkyPants, Stringers, link in the description, it’s sold separately from the Stringer itself. There’s a coupon code there in my description as well to save you some money.
Thanks brother
Hey…… I noticed that when you use your stringer and clip, you always stick the end of the stringer through the hole in the clip. It took me a minute to figure out that if you squeeze the clip, you can then just slide it over the stringer (anywhere along the stringer)and then release the clip.
Our water temperature Toledo Ohio is 38 degrees can I still catch crappie in that kind of temperature
Yes, we’ve had to break ice to be able to get to the fish.
@@BarFlyFishingTexas we do not have ice on the river
Who all fishes in the Creeks in the Winter?
A lot of us in Texas
