Hello, Richard. We're the same here in North Central Texas, when we've had rain it's just sporadic and nothing beneficial. I guess we'll get what we need sooner or later. Really appreciate everything you do for us with your channel. All the knowledge and experience that you share with us. God bless you and your family. Stay safe out there on your trips.
Hey Richard.. Everytime I watch your videos, it reminds me of my Grandad.. He truly loved fishing as much as you do. Not to mention, you look alot alike. God Bless You and your family..
Rain has been feast to famine here in Kentucky. Had a wet June and even July which is usually the hottest month in the year. Basically no rain in August and September. Pond levels dropped and some creeks went bone dry. Finally got a few rains in October and November but still behind for the year.
I grew up exploring creeks with an ultralight and worms or a white Mr.Twister. It opened up the fishing world to me. That was 50 years ago and I still love it. Thanks Gene, you old fishing machine. Keep on keeping on. Time spent fishing is not deducted from the time we're given.
I relate to your video, RG. A river I chose to live close to is so different from my youth. In my instance, it is more and more water taken from the river due to population growth. A steam powered electrical generating plant decided to quadruple its size (the water level dropped 6ft and never recovered) in my lifetime, too. I went fishing at a spot recently. I stopped trying to fish and just feed the fish left there my bait. They were glad to have it! It made my day!!! Have a good day, yourself!
You have best fishing channel on youtube! I too enjoy fishing for different species. Your knowledge and versatility along with not allowing anyone to change how you present your videos. God Bless!
Never grow up Richard Gene the fishing machine….it keeps you young. You always crack me up. 👍😂😂😂Enjoyed the video young man. Have a great upcoming weekend. 👍🙏🇺🇸
We have the same situation here in Tennessee too Richard. Thanks for another great video...your techniques have really helped this old guy!! God bless you and your family and I hope y'all have a wonderful holiday season!
Fantastic channel you got here, Richard. Your love of the sport really comes through! Also love the variety of species and locations you target. Keep up the good work!
Also dry here in south central Indiana at Cagle's Mill Lake. Water was lowest I've ever seen it in early summer, then recovered a bit, now it's nearly that low again. Early summer we saw a fish kill from low oxygen. The lake is starting to resemble the old river channel at least in spots. Freezer full of fish, though, now I need to eat that.
Back in the day,.me and my brother would take a minnow sain and catch a 5 gallon bucket of fish out of them holes like that.. that was some of the best fish Fry's.. 👍😎🎣☕
Really like your videos. Thanks to you spent my morning carefully (superglued on like you teach) pulling curly tail baits off jig heads, turning them over 180 degrees and re-rigging them tail the same as the hook. Harder than I thought it would be, weight of the tail made them fall so that it made it hard to be sure I was centered on the jig head hook.
Hello from as far north in Minnesota as u can get!!! Been subscribed since the beginning! I rig my twister tails the same way you do. Matter of fact on the old mister twister package it used to tell ya to do it the same way we do. Im also a carpenter too! God bless ya!
Richard at the start of your video where you said there was heron poop there was large knife or spear point just to your left. It sure looked like a artifact.
Hey Richard, awesome video. That first bass was one pf the red-eyes depending where you are probably cahaba, tallapoosa,or warrior maybe a Coosa I couldn't see it good enough. I love the redeye bass here in North Georgia but we only have the Coosa bass near me. God bless.
I admire & appreciate your sportsmanship, Richard Gene, more than any over paid NBA, NFL, or MLB player I've ever watched play. I love ya Brother! God bless you, Momma Sue, n there whole family too
I'm in the same situation Here in South Mississippi, Lakes I normally Fish are _4 and _5 ft below the normal pool,,, we getting some rain 🌧️🌧️ But it's gonna tak a river flood Out to fix this
I remember a year or two ago you recorded some wood knocking by a Sasquatch. Only If people really knew. Me and my cousin came up on one within 10ft when I was about 16yrs old. Came up behind it squatted down behind a dead red wood tree up in Vancouver back in 1991
Man, I have never seen nothing like this in my life and I’ve grown up in middle Tennessee. All the creeks all the rivers everything is super low. I’m not sure if it’s a tactic to kill off the invasive species or what’s going on I know Lake Mead is super low too😮
I believe Richard could catch fish in a dried up toilet bowl. God bless ya Gene!!!
No lies!
2 crappie and a catfish out of a bottle of water.

Hey Richard Alabama or Georgia.
at least you can find all your lost lures and learn the creek for when the water level higher.
Now is the time to move rocks and look for Gold deposits. You might be surprised!
