    I live in north central Texas near the red river in an air force base town. I have duck hunted with several military guys from more northern states that have said the cold here is different. I believe it's due to us having some humidity still in the air making it feel colder.🤷‍♂️ but who knows. Love the videos!

      Also, going from 80° to 30° in one day. That doesn’t help. Toss 20 mile an hour winds in there. Better cover up.

    Great Video! Appreciate all your content. Is most of that area of the creek in that 17ish foot depth or is that an isolated deep area of the creek? looks like it may get a little shallower towards the bridge?

    • @BarFlyFishingTexas
      @BarFlyFishingTexas  8 місяців тому

      It definitely varies as you move up and down. It’s not a constant depth anywhere on this Creek

      I personally don’t like to eat White Bass, Striper, or Hybrids. I think they are too fishy. Even if you know how to clean them correctly. I prefer Crappie, Walleye, and Catfish if I’m gonna eat freshwater fish.

    The northern folks don’t have to deal with an 80 degree day followed by a 30 degree day. Up north it just stays cold so your body adjust to the temperature better. It’s the constant warm then freezing cold days we have to deal with that make 30 degrees freezing cold.
