Really enjoyed seeing the stamp show and all the people poring over the collections, and particularly the interviews. The lady said she only stopped stamp collecting for a few years while in the military, and I thought, ohhh, I can see how that could be inconvenient! "Ready to advance!" "No, wait sir, I just need to post this cover so i can get a local stamp and postmark for my collection!" :) Such a lovely group of people and it looked like a really fun day for everyone there. Thanks so much to Rob and everyone involved in making this video. :)
It's interesting to hear how each person became involved in stamp collecting. I especially liked the gentleman who started collecting in "grade 2" because of a television show on CBC. Enjoyed listening to each of their stories.
The stories are what bring the hobby to life and show the possibilities you can take with your own collection. What better way to learn then thru generations of experiences
Philatelists are generally such a friendly and kind bunch of people. I enjoyed your chats with the people, Rob. The two worldwide collections are impressive, and the discussions with the lady and man with the beard made me want to know more about them and their collecting. In between you browsed through some interesting items. There are so many stamps! It is almost too much and difficult to resist. I am looking forward to see what you bought at the show. 🙂

I think their answers were much the same as mine would have been, so nice to know I'm not the only weird one. 😀 It looked like there were some interesting stamps available. Probably lucky I wasn't there with you, my bank account might be looking a little the worse for wear. 😄 Still it's all good fun and you really do have to set a budget and stick to it. Looking forward to seeing what you bought.
Oh I really could have been bad and spent far more than I could afford. I managed some really interesting items. You were thought of when I saw a few interesting mint stamps though.
Really enjoyable video Rob. The man at 7:03, looks he catalogues the same way as I presented in one of my videos. I would’ve liked more info from that man how he keeps track of his stamps. Guess since he has a worldwide collection it is impossible to bring all those catalogues. I like how there are various ways to approach this hobby, also with various budgets. It is a hobby that doesn’t leave anyone behind. Thanks for the video!
I hope in the future I can bring you more detailed interviews. There is so much to be discovered in the hobby and everyone approaches it a bit differently.

Interesting heading, but pretty much regular, curious questions a beginner normally may ask a long time collector. But then again, enjoyed knowing seeing faces and knowing the community otherwise I would not have known apart from a more than just a peek--a-boo on philatelic items.
@@thatdadguy1974 my initially thoughts to comment is have you taken to the Travel UA-camr style whose headings entice new viewers. May it latch on in your case. As with mine, I know you a long time here, and I would appreciate any content to do with stamps.
