This Is Why You Defund Old People

Today in my HOI4 Millennium Dawn A to Z series, I play as Algeria, the first country in the entire series with an actual industry. However, you start with a big amount of debt and losing a lot of money. There was an easy fix to this, which was defunding old people. Once you do that, Algeria is a surprisingly strong country, Definitely not as torturous as a lot of things i've played so far.
