If you save your image as a PNG in Sillouette instead of JPEG, you will no longer have to cut out the extra white around the 8:00 minute mark. PNG retains any transparent backgrounds where JPEG will fill it with white.
I didn’t know you could do that! Thank you for sharing! But I do have one question, why do you cut it on your cricut not you silhouette machine? Is it better? If so how?
PattyAnnesPlace got it! I have a silhouette cameo but I feel like people usually go for the cricut. And I just don’t know why! I love the silhouette software. I think with the cricut software you have to do more work.
To be able to save work from Silhouette for use in Cricut Design Space, you advise that we must have the business edition of Silhouette. I am new to Silhouette, and wanted to get the business edition for this purpose. However, the buying options have now changed ( Starter £3.49 month, Basic £6.49 a month etc.) and I am not sure which level I need to get now, can you let me know.....thanks
Unfortunately Cricut doesn't allow you to take any of your files out of their program. That is one of the reasons I switched from using Design Space to create my projects to Silhouette Studio to create for my Cricut Explore.
Mahalo's for your tips... You just saved me another headache.... And another HTV..,. I appreciate you...
Thanks so much. Glad I could help!

Thank you,PattyAnne for us how easy it's to use silhouette business edition software to work with our cricut machine.
I really like the way you explain things
Thanks!!
Good video thanks
So, is Silhouette Studio Business Edition largely your software of choice over Cricut DS?
Yes, it is! And thank you!!!

I probably just used my cricut to show that it can be done/cut even if you design with silhouette software.

Great tutorial. You mentioned the Silhouette software Business edition was $49. When i looked it was $99. Where did you download it from?
Hi Karen! Yes, when I bought mine it was $99. For quite a while there was a sale going on at swing design but it is no longer available.
Great video, I just subscribed.
Thank you!!!!!
Hi Patty, great Video, just one question, Do you know how to make the cut lines thin? THank you in advance
Hi Dora, I am not sure I know what you mean. Are you using a Cricut? Can you explain a little more?
What type of file is Winnie and Eeyore that you imported? I re-watched but still missed that info somehow. Thanks
I’m pretty sure they were JPEG
Brilliant thankyou
@
PattyAnnesPlace Just wondering how you changed the colour of your cricut design space to the pink area. I can not find it for the life of me.
OMG Thank you, I paused your video before you explained it. Thank you!!
Hey does the cricut expression work with silhouette studio software ?
I’m so sorry but I’m not sure.
I have a design in cricut as a print and cut but I want to make it larger to print can I upload that project into silhouette to make it larger?

Thanks so much I will have to do projects that I want larger in silhouette studios then.
I only have a Cameo. Can I subscribe to silhouette access without actually owning a machine?
*without actually owning a Cricut machine*
I'm sorry but I'm not really sure what you mean. Can you give me more details?
I have a question what if I don't want to do a print and i want to do a vinyl sticker layer
Can you give me a few more details please?
Great tutorial! Thank you!!!!
You are so welcome!
