If I have a stock ALH, stage 1 EGR delete. And IQ should be 3-5. Where would be the best for a stage 1 tune. Closer to 3 or closer to 5?

Hi I have an alh tdi and have tried adjusting the timing. The problem is that the timing is too advance and I can't delay it because the regulation pulley stroke is finished . The car runs decent but the timing is out of the pattern . Could this be a problem or can I keep driving like this? The timing is 5.7 btdc (2 btdc is the maximum timing specification). Sorry for my bad English

You want to look at the timing graph not just measuring blocks

Mate please i need help, so my car is stuttering at idle, soudns exactly like your car before you open the tdi timeing chart. My best guess is that i should advance the timeing belt a few degrees, do you have any suggestions. Its a 06 BLT out of a vrs fabia

You’ll need to look in vcds and see where your at and adjust accordingly
But isn’t that a pd engine not a ve engine
Not sure we don’t have blt here

Does that mean its related to the timeing belt not the iq?

That’s no far off of ideal
If I remember between 3-5 is factory spec range
As long as your in there your good
Personally I go 3.5-4 area

Finally I adjusted the IQ to 3.2/3.0 MG at 92° and although it lost very little in performance it gained more smoothness at idle and even sounds a little better, excellent videos! thank you so much!
