DIY oil catch can part 2 and beer

So in one of my other videos I went through the common enough oil breather mod for harleys. The oil catch can was left slightly unfinished due to waiting on parts. Well its finished.... but it isnt working as well as it should. So watch on for part 2 where I tell you the thinking and show what I ended up doing. I also stuck an electrical USB take off. Drink some beer and talk about twin cam A and twin cam B's.

With the new catch can location won’t the oil that was blowing out the top of the catch can now blow out on your rear tire?

It sort of does. so where the can is now it nestles in a u shaped cavity ( if seen from the top ) the oil mist goes up this cavity towards the seat. Since also keeping my oil at 3/4 to 6/8 full the amount of oil residue the catch can is getting has been far less. But yes it is something I intend to do something about. Its not a lot but enough to annoy me. It doesnt get onto the tyre though its more a sludgey/dirt combo but then I go offroad on the bike so that might help dry up the oil 😀
