What a wonderful homage to your garden! I really enjoyed the way you presented this information. It is a lovely reminder about how important plants are and how we can live in harmony with nature. Well done! Part 2 maybe?!!!!
Oh Lori! I can certainly think of another 10 herbs off the top of my head that I would love to feature in a Part 2 🌿🌿🌿You might have noticed the beautiful magenta 'dreadlock' amaranth in a few scenes? It is also known as 'love lies bleeding' and I am definitely going to grow that again next season, and explore the medicinal and culinary uses for it... oooh, I'm such a plant nerd! Thanks for watching xx

Are you planning to take any plants with u or are you starting fresh. I think when we do move I'll take lots of cutting or them with my I feel so connected to my plants.
That makes my heart sing to hear you are connected with your plants too, Michael. I am hopelessly in love with the green world, that's for sure! I have taken many cuttings, and dug up my favourite bulbs, and even tried to put a few favourites into pots for the journey... but I'm going to have to take a deep breath and start fresh in the spring, once I have studied my new garden a little, and learned her ways 🍀 🍀 🍀
That video was so interesting. Love the new house, we looked at that one too so obviously you’re a person of great taste. LOL. I told Kym where you were, she knew. We’ve decided to hold out here for a while (doesn’t mean we’ve changed our mind about Queensland though) we want to see how the garden grows as it’s a totally new garden, there wasn’t one single plant on it when we brought it, it’s a huge block so it’s cost heaps so gotta see the fruits of the labour. Take care and looking forward to seeing your new garden. 💕
I completely agree, I felt I needed to see everything reach its peak and be finally 'finished' before I considered moving. You want to enjoy the fruits of your labour, at least for a little while 💕 Oh gosh, I really don't know where to start with the new garden, but I'll get there!
Always love a good garden video and some beautiful flowers. Thanks so much for sharing and giving so much great information. It was a great chitchat today my sweet friend.

I was only discussing this superhighway with Chris yesterday, how we interconnect in this energy field all the time. Something we are naturally connected to if we tune in and realise that we and everything is already thought. A oneness that makes us truly whole. 💕✨
I come from a Irish Background, and can remember my Grandmother telling me about the "Little People" and that she would leave offerings to keep them happy 😊
I am new here. You,saying goodbye to your beloved garden,it touches my heart. The dandelions will soon arrive here in my yard,I welcome these so called ‘weeds’,and they welcome me back, with their wonderful yellow tea,and slightly bitter greens. Whilst typing this,I had a most delightful daydream! I imagined that in your last day in your precious garden, you shrunk down to Alice in wonderland size! You chatted with the flowers, and they chatted with you! I would love it if you could shrink like that🥰
Oh,one last bit,May I be your familiar,of a sort? I am the son of dandelion, and I can prove it,as my hair has blown away with the wind,I am nothing more than a dandelion bud, exposed to sun and moon, for all to see!
Ohhh Charles! I wish I could respond in audio so that you could hear my delighted giggle at the thought of shrinking down to Alice size and your hair blowing away like dandelion seeds in the wind! This is surely the most brilliant and creative comment yet - my inner child is thrilled and yes, I think a little dandelion boy in wonderland would make a fabulous witch's familiar 🌿🥀🌿
You know,it is more than likely that you have actually miniaturized in your garden in the past,at least once or twice. However, upon being returned to your normal size, you are made to forget your adventures! You are only allowed by the garden to remember your tiny time in dreams. But,like most dreams, upon awakening gently fade. This is why dream journals can be important! However, they who allow you to become small do not like dream journals, they see it as an act of capturing that which must not be captured. It’s true,so be careful of what you capture on pages, pages seem like thin sheets, but they are,in fact, many miles deep. They can be infinitely filled, but never truly kept under lock and key,as there are readers, who are not bothered by locks or keys. A mere finger, stroked across the edges of a page of a closed book. Is all they need to have what is inside revealed to them!🥰
A fascinating story, from a friend in Minnesota: When he was a child,in the back yard, there was a tree stump. He approached it,and out of it,popped a little dwarf like angry man,who chased him away, screaming at him! Turns out,his younger brother also experienced this little man. So,years later, the two of them were recollecting this experience, and their sister, the youngest of the three, said to them”wait!you both met him???” They said yes,but she described her experience much differently. The one at the tree stump appeared to her as a badger, and really liked her,and asked her to tell jokes to him! He laughed at her simple jokes, and asked her to return as often as possible! The 2 brothers could not believe what they heard,as they had never shared their experiences with anyone, and yet, their sister remembered telling jokes to a talking badger,at the same tree stump! Fey. This is my favourite episode yet Nancy. Beautifully shot, pockets of incredible pieces of knowledge and so much respect for the traditional indigenous uses for the plants that I greatly appreciate and had gotten lost amongst so many. Love! 💖🌱🪻🌼

Loved this video! My first time here, we're going to redo our garden to have a forest farm for the deer and other delightful creatures. It will be a labor of love, and I hope to learn from you and your plants ways of making my little place into happy earth.
That's so wonderful! I hope my gardening episodes will be an inspiration and give you lots of ideas, your dream sounds lovely! My next episode will show the little herb garden I've started at my new house 🐞xx
Such a beautiful video. Your gardens are lovely! And I couldn't help but beam when you mentioned Terri! Three cheers for herbal sisters around the globe! Blessings from Arkansas ❤
Enchanting and inspiring, as always :) I also have around a dozen salvia varieties. I love their scent and that they bloom for most of the year, here in Portugal. I try to gather as many scented plants as I can in my garden: salvias, rosemary, different thyme varieties, some teucrium varieties, lilacs and gardenia... It's wonderful that, when summer comes, the garden has a wonderful scent in the air. I found very interesting that you use them for different teas. I would like to learn about that, because I'm aware that many plants in my garden have medicinal properties. I have around 130 different species and most of them are scented and, I believe, medicinal. Also loved the herbal smoke wands. I have the Salvia Apiana and the Salvia Leucantha and the rosemary you mentioned, so I'll give a try at those wonderful herbal smoke wands. All the best to you, I'm loving your channel :)
Oh that's so wonderful, Francisco! I am the biggest salvia fan - I think they'll be going into my new garden first up. Be sure to tell me how your herbal smoke wands go - the scent is amazing 💛🍃🧚🏻♀️
I love to refer to plants as plant spirits because it more accurately represents my relationship & connection to them, even though I know it's just my perception and part of my imagination. You have been inspiring to me as we bought our own home last year and have a decent sized garden and I am starting to document the progress online. I always knew it would become a source of healing to me in this world as a highly sensitive person with ADHD who feels like the world is too much. Before I grew herbs indoors, went forest bathing and left offerings to the fae and lived vicariously through videos like this, but now we have our own space I really feel the magic too! I adore your channel and the beauty you put into each video. Thanks for always inspiring me and helping me to feel at peace when everything else is too much.
Oh that's so exciting, Sarah! Have you started a garden journal yet? I would love to share a bit more on how I journal in a future episode. I love to think that what exists in the imagination is no less real than anything else we think about, and, so often, what begins in the imagination, is one day made reality. Not sure if that made sense... need to finish my morning coffee hehe Thanks for the support Sarah, biggest hugs 💖🌱🌼
@@theramblingrose_ Before I started my garden I put together some ideas in a scrapbook... old photos from my Nan's old garden, bits out of gardening magazines and I have definitely seen some of them come into being! Thanks Geneva! I am certainly going to take you on the journey with me - I am not sure where to start, but I'll figure it all out soon! I think I'll begin with some bulbs... I have some amazing tulips to plant 💜

Awww thank you Alison! I'm just a little in disbelief that my films are reaching people. I sometimes feel like the only one who believes in faeries and talks to plants... 🌿🥀🌿 Sending lots of love and magick from my corner of the world to yours xx
I’ve enjoyed this so much, especially the bundles that you made❤
How special, Louise! I feel like your vision drew you to me for a reason - my 'soul's calling' has always been to awaken the inner child in others, through storytelling and art. So perhaps, it was a call from your inner child to look for magick in the everyday 🥀 xx
Hello my friend.
Very nice sharing❤❤🌹🌹 full support from Morocco 👍👍🤝🤝🔔🔔🌹🌹
Hello friend!! Lots of love to Morocco ❤❤🌹🌹
@@theramblingrose_ Thank you so muche. WELCOME ❤🌹👍
Absolutely beautiful video. I follow Danu magic HG too and love her info. So glad you did a final video before your next move. Adore your content as always ❤
Me too, Hanna! I think the plants are pleased with this episode too, they are waving at me in the wind right now haha 🌿🥀🌿
The way you think and speak is beautiful
Oh how lovely, thank you so much 🌹xx
I'll have to watch this again and take notes. You are such a good gardener. I'm a beginner and am beginning to worry I've not got a green thumb. I'm planning my garden for this spring and will try planting all these.
Oh thank you - it's all just experimentation and I certainly have made many mistakes and sadly, seen many casualties - never give up on the garden! Be sure to pop in and tell me all about your spring gardening adventures - thanks for watching ❤xx
What a lovely video and stunning garden. So glad I found your channel. it's magical and full of information. Think I need to hop over to patreon for more 😊.
Wonderful! Looking forward to seeing you there ☘️☘️☘️
Oh those herbal bundles look so pretty lain out on the seasoned wood. These herbal smoke wands are things of beauty.
Thanks Erica! They smell pretty great too 🥀 xx
I’m so overjoyed to meet a fellow Aussie witchy UA-camr (I don’t feel like there is too many of us here on UA-cam!!!) 😍🌿💚🕯️ makes my heart so happy seeing your channel pop up on my feed today!!! This video is so stunning, Sending you many blessings beautiful soul, I can’t wait to binge all your videos 🥳💚🌿
Thank you so much!! What a lovely comment and thank you, it's nice to know that what I share here is reaching out to witchy sisters in the southern hemisphere. Do you have any plans for the winter solstice? I just want to hibernate haha 🌹xx
Thanks for sharing and blessings to you and your new home 🏡
Thank you so much! I'm soooo excited! Can't wait to do a garden tour and see what is there already... I know there are already a few roses and lillies... watch this space xx
This is my favourite episode yet Nancy. Beautifully shot, pockets of incredible pieces of knowledge and so much respect for the traditional indigenous uses for the plants that I greatly appreciate and had gotten lost amongst so many. Love! 💖🌱🪻🌼
Awww thank you! I could have spent another 24 hours talking on the deeper history and stories of each plant, nerding out as I do over everything green and growing 💖🌱🌼 Lots of love to you, sweet soul! Can't wait until you get into your own garden and tell me all about it!
I just live your videos and your gentle soul. Thank you for making beautiful content. As a fellow green witch it fills my heart to see what others do with their magical practice. X
Thank you so much, Caroline! And pleased to meet a fellow sister of the wild green ways 🌱💚 I could have included another 40 plants in this video but needed to be practical lol
Yes, three cheers for herbal sisters and kindred souls around the world 🌱💚 Thanks for watching, sweet soul xx
How beautiful! Thank you. ❤
My pleasure ❤
I love your way of thinking. I would love to document it in a journal though and what a great reason to buy a new one :). I'd love to see your process :)
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much. Your videos are so delightful and calming. I really needed to listen to this! Wow! I love your videos!
Gosh, thank you so much, what a lovely comment. So glad you are enjoying my videos, Rozzy 🌼 xx
Beautiful video! I'm new here. I would love to see videos on your process of creating a garden at your new place.
Thanks Geneva! I am certainly going to take you on the journey with me - I am not sure where to start, but I'll figure it all out soon! I think I'll begin with some bulbs... I have some amazing tulips to plant 💜
Thank you for this lovely video. So insprational and Your garden is so lush! I only just started growing herbs last year. Im So excited to see my garden develop. 🌱🌷🌿🌹🌱🌷🌿🌹
Ohh be prepared for a lifelong love affair, once you start gardening there is no going back! Might as well buy shares in your local nursery right now hehe 🌷🌿🌹
I recieved your lovely artwork, and I sent a message of thanks, but, silly me,I said wolf ,rather than Fox.
It is a beautiful self portrait, the foxgloves are draping so perfectly, the moon smiles upon the trees an gently rolling hills.
I am honored to own this, truly!
Oh wow, wow, wow!! Thank you so much, sweet Charles! I am SO glad you love it. I am rather obsessed with the magickal foxglove and think it will definitely feature on the cover of my upcoming book 'Wild Faerie Magick' - has the oracle arrived too?! ❤❤🌹🌹
Yes the oracle arrived a few days later, along with that beautiful tissue paper with your design on it as well.
I look forward to reading the oracle book, and am already impressed with not just the artwork, but the inspiring quotes accompanying each card description.
Thank you,my lady,on the far-side of this orbiting orb🥰
@@charlesperez9976 Wonderful Charles - I'm so happy you are happy 🥰
I recently planted Liatris, commonly known as gayfeather and blazing star. And Ixia plants native to South Africa, some of them are known as the corn lily. I do better with bulbs. I live in Knoxville, Tennessee USA
Oooh, I'll have to write those down in my garden journal and do some research - they sound magickal 🥀 xx
I found your site yesterday. I am so relaxed and it is so soothing to listen to your videos. I have always loved nature, flowers, and herbs......and I have been a lifetime tea drinker. I am anxious to try the blends you mention. Thank you so much for your calming videos during the chaos going on today in our world. I am hoping that love, brotherhood, and harmony will touch our earth again.
I hope for the same things, Chrystal - let's hold the vision together 🌹xx

Your videos are so beautiful, i think this is one of my favorites! What was the oracle deck you used at the end? It is beautiful!
Thank you so much, I pour so much heart and soul into them, and the editing process is intense for someone who prefers old fashioned art forms ☺Th oracle deck is my own, it is called 'The Earth Spirit Oracle' - designed to awaken the inner child - you can get it here: www.nancychalmers.com/shop/the-earth-spirit-oracle xx
@@theramblingrose_ thank you so much! 😊 it is beautiful!
Wonderful video! The plant you are calling Purple Velvet is gorgeous, but when I looked it up, it was a completely different plant. Is there another name for it? Perhaps loosestrife?
It's a type of Salvia - Luecantha, I believe! Check it out here: www.gardenia.net/plant/salvia-leucantha-mexican-bush-sage 🌹xx
@@theramblingrose_ thanks!

Do you have to dry out the herbs 🌿 before burning? Xx
Hi Dawn, yes, I usually put the smoke wands in a warm, sunny, dry place for a couple of weeks. You could also pop them in a dehydrator too 🌿🌿🌿
Thank you xx

@@theramblingrose_ it's a French pussy willow and a scarlet corkscrew willow. Very pretty. The trees have beaded charms I made, and have grown white and indigo pea flowers from nowhere.
