Dear Nancy this was so beautiful. The light was gorgeous. Had a golden almost haze, like heaven. Those wildflowers! I feel very uplifted and as though I went through the wardrobe into Narnia. Thankyou so much for sharing your beautiful art with us all 🕊️🕯️🎨🌻🌼🦋
Oh so glad you enjoyed the dreamy light in this episode - I tried something different with my camera and wasn't too sure! A trip to Narnia? Yes please! 🌹xx
Thank you so much for sharing. This video takes me back in time. My Mama used to make a sandwich cake too. She would serve it to the neighbor ladies for lunch when she hosted a card party. Thank you for bringing back such sweet memories. Pansies are among my favorite flowers. My Mama and Father would plant a pansy garden every year....and now I do the same. Thank you again,...all the best. Melanie Fay
Oh Melanie, it is my sincere wish that these little films are like time machines, whisking us all away to simpler days, so your comment really made me smile. Thank you for watching! ❤ xx
Beautiful video, very inspiring. I used to press flowers, I need to wait until the Spring to do it again. I watched many cottage core type of channels, yours is different, it is not about showing off merchandise like other people do. Thanks for the magic🕊️
Oh, how wonderful to hear - thank you so much for this comment, I was a little downhearted when I saw this episode wasn't as popular as the others, but you have lifted my spirits. I don't enjoy showing off my merchandise in my films - feels so 'icky' but I try to blend it in subtly... I hope that viewers intuitively understand that artists need support to create free content ... meanwhile, I'll just stick to thrifting and growing my own food hehe ;)
@@theramblingrose_ my mom used to grow them in our backyard and she would cut them and weave them in my hair braids when I was little. I have planted them til I’m purple but I think it’s just to hot where I live for them. 😞
I gave your oracle cards to a friend of mine for Christmas and she absolutely loved them and connected with the energy you added to them. Thank you. I always look forward to your new content, I am fascinated with the beautiful way you use the camera to show off your beautiful world, all while sharing a wonderful story in your soothing magical voice. Thank you and I hope you have a wonderful new year, Happy 2024 to you and all the other wildflowers. :)
Wow, wildflower Kara, what a lovely comment! Thank you so much for reaching out. I'm so glad you enjoy my little 'gifts of light' here on UA-cam - I promise to keep 'em coming! Happy New Year ❤xx
Your beautiful videos relax me so much. This little witch s faraway from her tropical fairy paradise where I sit and watch your videos but sitting listening to the gentle waves of the lanzarote ocean on our holiday balcony takes me right back to my magical place I call home x
There's no place like home, Kelly, and it sounds like yours is magical. Thanks so much for watching, and relaxing, sweet soul. So happy you enjoyed this one!
I always thought I was so weird especially as a child because of the life I wanted & craved. So nice to know I wasn't alone. My love of nature & flowers were always my love language. I fought to live the way I wanted but didn't always succeed due to the pressure of life but found it these last few years. I found the world I craved & still finding my way through it & loving every second!! ❤
You are most certainly not alone, Michele! Wouldn't it be lovely if we could start a movement back to the 'simple life'...? I suppose people have been trying since the 60s... oh well... one slow day at a time... sending love and flowers ❤xx
I think you might be looking at the sweet peas? Snappies aren't flowering in my garden just yet... soon, I hope! But in any case, I love both flowers - thanks for watching and loving the episode 🌹xx
Thank you so much for your comment, it always makes me breathe a sigh of relief to know I didn't miss the mark ❤ This one was a real challenge for me, but I'm so glad you enjoyed it! ❤xx
Beautiful video! Your videos got me through a long Canadian winter last year, and I can already tell they will once again be an amazing uplifting thing to watch this winter.
Oh my goodness, what a lovely comment - I'm so glad you like them! It's a bit daunting posting seasonal content here on UA-cam when I know the algorithm isn't going to like it... but what can I do!? Thanks for watching ❤ xx
Ah Nancy, your fairytailes do resonate!!! Love to watch them so much and integrate the message they behold. Always a moment to contemplate for me. Thank you 🌸🩷
Wonderful! I'm so glad to hear that, and I appreciate you taking the time to comment - it really lifted my spirits to read this! Sending much love to Portugal ❤ xx
Your goal of a dreamy, soothing video it’s so well accomplished! The flower craft and baking are calling to me, but for now I’ll have to wait for the flowers to come back. And thank you for reminding me how much i loved Kate Greenaway’s art as a child - I need to become reacquainted!
Yippeee! So glad I hit the mark with this one - dreamy and peaceful is my favourite style. I hope the flowers return soon and that your winter is warm, cosy and creative ❤ xx
Nancy, the cake indeed looks so beautiful for a "fairy picnic". I know the faires would love your cake. You are a true artist. Your beautiful quotes in each video are truly amazing. "Sweet pea speak of delicate pleasures." "Violas practice self compassion." "May your days and nights be starry and sweet and greet them with joy." "May the flowers whisper poetry and the wind sing fairy lullabys."
I felt my heart lulling into a less anxious beat watching this. You have a gift. (And thankfully, I was enjoying my lunch while I was watching, or that cake would have given me the tizzies!)
That makes me so happy to hear that... it seems everywhere you turn these days something is triggering anxiety, so I'm happy to provide the opposite effect through my little films 🌹xx
Such beauty! 🙂 I loved this sensible, contemplative and thoughtful episode 🙂 I also must confess that the Smorgastarta made me hungry 😁 I had to eat sooner than I expected 😜 I hope you can cope with the demands of those deadlines while keeping the ability to be true to yourself and put all your creativity in it. Thank you so much.
Your wish is perfect - I am trying to balance it all and am determined to create a life of peace, and then share it as often as I can. Thanks again for watching and enjoying ❤ xx
Oh that sandwich cake looked so pretty and I’m sure yummy too ♥️ There’s nothing like sitting outside having an afternoon tea party. I do it often myself 😉
I appreciate this video,it brings light to me,as I am experiencing a terrible state of that thing that brings no light. I have not slept since 5pm on Monday, today is Thursday. I currently exist in a whisky world, neither here nor there,as I suffer through a family event indescribable
Ha,sorry, not whisky! Wispy, that state between sleep and awake, where nobody dictates one’s perception. One simply rides these ebb and flow of tides,we can only make of it what we will
Oh Charles, I am so sorry to hear that you are having a difficult time. I'm sending you some light in this dark hour and wishes that nourishing, soothing sleep will find you soon. Big hugs x
Hi Nancy! Where did you get that beautiful flower press? All the flowers are so beautiful. Not seeing any flowers around Central Florida. We’ve been in a drought. I saw Melissa last night at my grandson’s soccer practice and she told me about the beautiful picture she had ordered from you years ago and it sounded so lovely. I hope you two get to collaborate again. I love the oracle cards. The food you made looked so delicious and beautiful. Blessings for a fantastic week ahead ❤
another stunning video...thank you. As I watch it here in France where we're now fully in the winter months, it reminds me that the flowers will return. Are the cornflowers and calendula's in your new garden? If so, you;ve worked wonders :)
Glad you enjoyed it! Those cornflowers and calendula are in a community space in my town called the 'Sensory Gardens' - aren't they gorgeous!? You'll get a peek at my cottage garden in the next episode, and then I'll do a summer garden tour next up - thanks for watching, Nicola ❤ xx

The Herbalist and gardener in me just loves all your videos.

Hello, I'm new here and this is my first time commenting. I enjoy your videos, they're very calming. I have a question, do you eat the flowers on the cake to?
“It is up to us, the gentle spirits of the world, to remember.”❤
It is 🌹xx
I Love this- What Life should be like, and sometimes is!
Yes, let's make our days this sweet and peaceful wherever possible - it's even easier when you're not in front of the camera too ❤ xx

Aha the sand-witch cake - love that! Yes, it was so tasty ❤ xx
