    Just been very lucky to have been visited by a pod of these kayaking of Solva! Lovely sight to just stop paddling and watch them go by!!

    This is the species called "grampus" by Melville, in Moby Dick.

    Point Lynas, Anglesey. Saw them 2 days ago.

    They are genetically related to pilot whales and killer whales (in Latin: globicephala, round-headed dolphin).

    Can we domesticated this species? I wanna train and pet them.

      Well, you don't want to confine them to captivity, do you? They're such intelligent, free-ranging creatures. I'm sure we'd all rather leave them alone and observe them in the wild.
