@@Hawken54 Several states have laws which prevent anyone shoplifting amounts of certain values to be left alone - as the potential for them being sued for battery etc didn't make it worth it. However this isn't the case everywhere, and no matter how educated you are wouldn't help you know every law of every location and also be able to distinguish if the security are actually in on the event and told to take no action regardless of the laws. Way too many factors to "get educated" on!
