Forget angling for a second, all but one of those Tiger players had tunnel vision and were just holding W, not bothering to check surroundings while traveling through an open field. Also they must be deaf to totally miss an m18 less than 50 meters away from them.
I'll admit, it's kind of painful to watch the ones that keep rolling by when the tanks next to them explode, but at the same time it's painful to watch someone sitting next to the enemy spawn when you're losing.
statistically speaking, the sheer amount of Tiger players means that even though most will be utter dogshit, at least one will be incredibly good. and that's scary as fuck.
Although the rest of the Tigers have bad awareness at least the 2nd one shows visible effort to angle his tank, although he unfortunately didn't angle it enough
Because Hellcats are like R3, EBR, M22 and other light vehicle players are opportunists but despicable. Then again most German players are like Russian tree players, tunnel visioned and well deserved butt slam for not paying attention.

It doesnt get alot of kills also because its caliber doesnt ONE SHOT, and AMERICAN TANKS ARE COVERED IN 12.7mm mgs, which tiger h1, tiger e, panther d, panther a, t-34-85, kv-85, dont have.

I don't understand players like this, they have so access to content creators and forums in order to get better at the game and they just ignore it, like is it fun to just drive out and die? I don't get it, how do you play the game like this and have fun? As an x air arcade player the switch to air realistic battles was an absolute pain before I understood basic of energy retention and memorized the performance of other planes. Even now I still have so much to learn. If you see these players, please help them, I genuinely mean it.
I suppose it's their first few matches in the tiger, so they think that they're just new and need experience on the tiger to get good at it, since they probably watched those documentaries about how a tiger killed 1500 Sherman's with two rounds so they rushed it's research without learning how to play a tiger first. Either that or that they have the same IQ as the average war thunder player (room temperature IQ)

as a britain main, the idea of driving out into an open field without fiercely observing my surroundings just doesn't make sense to me. Most of my tanks apart from the churchill die in one hit from pretty much every cannon in the game

@@burneracc2567 You Angle and they shot at your Cupola if you're using the Tiger H1, If you're the Tiger E They shoot your Barrel your tracks and then go to your sides, speaking is easy but when you're fighting you hardly will go on a 1v1, And the argument of "Just shoot first" dont works when the Sherman has a Short-stop stabilizer which makes it much easier to him fire first than you, specially if you're going above 30 km/h
What impresses me the most is the lack of communication/chat in warthunder, if I die like that I would certainly type something like "enemy m18 on the sp" it's the least you can do... But no, even in simulator battles people don't say ANYTHING!

i have been stuck with the tiger for a while now and i have learnt ways to take like 4 75mm shells and be fine, the thing is that i remember being a noob who thought of the tiger h1 as some godly tank and thought that it was unkillable or sum,i remember the exscitement but now i'm gonna unlock the tiger 2 soon cuz i'm bored of tiger 1
In all fairness, you were like the only one near spawn compared to everyone in your team capping so it's natural for them to assume that their side should be clear and travel pointing forward before angleing near the action (that's how I do it while traveling), so God damm annoying when your fresh outta spawn and you get penned by a hellcat that just so happened to appear near my spawn out of bloody narnia but I can't complain since I flank in the tiger and play aggressively in it (yes I'm on the front pushing and getting down to brawl in a heavy, sue me)
quite the opposite actually, American schools tend to overly glorify their enemies and undersell their own capabilities at the time to paint it as an underdog story when it was anything but.
german and swedish player here. i like to think i do well in my tigers. i usually play the tank like a flanker and light tank, and it is always amusing to see the sides and rears of tank destroyers who think they are clever. in such a manner i could get 2-4 victories before someone better than me gets me or i make a boneheaded mistake. playing the poovkoovs and eye-koovs and stridsvoogs though, i see a lot of those wehraboos and sovietboos who rush to the front with not a care in the world. you can always tell the good ones from the bad ones.
I am ashamed to say, but I used to be one of these players, ran down the panzer 3 line and got the tiger, I’ve changed now but man was I a dumb little lad
@@t90mshaweenee55 I was saying if they are driving the Tiger H, they've most likely jumped to it rather than having a proper lineup and in my experience 99% of the time you get uptier'd to 6.3 so might as well drive the Tiger E which has better speed and turret traverse as well as bit more armor protecting the transmission and no tall cupola at the cost of being 5.7 but 6.7 uptiers aren't nearly as common.
I just hunker down with my Tiger. I know the Tiger is big and cumbersome not to mentioned the tank has many weak spots so I just try to keep my distance.

I had one of those "Shooting blind Tigers" moments a few months ago. It's so fun. Got 12 kills before I ran out of ammo (Charioteer has so little ammo). They had no excuse either because I was completely out in the open. No one bothered to check their flanks until they got a 20pdr sabot through their turret that killed the gunner, loader, commander, cannon breech and coax so they can't even mark me for their comrades.
technically speaking under the scenarios shown above the Panther would be a worse bet as almost all the Tigers shown were shot in the side and one was slightly angled. Both situations the Panther's armor is actually worse as it's side armor is rather thinner than the Tiger's and the hull shape means that angling makes you more vulnerable in the Panther while the Tiger's hull shape encourages it. The only axis in which the Panther has superior protection is when your tank is pointed straight at the enemy or only very marginally angled...and in that case the Tiger still has a better turret face. Though to be fair almost no matter what tank you're in around that BR getting hit in the side by that thing is essentially game over anyway.

The jumbo can stop the tiger from moving with the hmg, something tiger has to waste a 8s reload shell to do. tiger has to aim for mg port, which lets the jumbo have a shot at the barrel bc is it not moving.
I always struggled to understand how people in tigers are so fucking stupid. Its literally not an issue to get 4-5 kills a game in a tiger... especially when they put it at 5.3 which is just ridiculous. you just point and shoot, you only have to aim when you encounter a Jumbo, thats literally it
