That Bonham groove ... just epic. Brian is great.
Superman on drums! Brian's footwork is so blazing fast and powerful that beater, LITERALLY, generated enough heat to start to melt itself and the drum head lol! His theory and skills are top notch. Add to that his tremendous sense of groove and athleticism and you have an absolute MONSTER on drums! This solo was incredible! As good as Brian has done for himelf, even up untill now, half way through 2023...he's still underrated and under appreciated! BRAVO Brian!

Brian certainly does these drums & Bonzo very proud. I am a proud owner of that exact kit. And let me tell you, they are a phenomenal sounding kit. Very big & open (Hence the mic distortion lol) I just love these drums. No need to muffle anything, just play them wide open.
That is really interesting bass drum playing and nice rolls.Love the open sound.
The 5 piece ,amber ,acrylic, Ludwig, Song remains the same Bonham kit with a 26 inch kick and a master playing it with one kick pedal. Where did we see that years ago?

Yes! Being a huge Bonzo fan, i developed the same technique as Brian, for me is like an inversed heel toe and to me is like a shuffle with my foot.
BT does an amazing job here!! He's just so friendly, relaxt and patient! And funny!!
And the way he explains it all should be quite easy to follow, I think! (and I don't even play drums)

Bonham style
Once you know what Bonham is doing and get this type of kit you'll sound like him ( a little ), maybe not as good but similar.
Bonham had so much feel and great rock chops.....most importantly he hooked up with Page Jones and Plant.
He paid his dues and hung in long enough for the right opportunity to come along. He was 1/4 of the Zeppelin sound.
I think that is what makes him truly a legend. People die, legends don't.
drum solo's are only interesting to an audience when you're beating the shit out of the kit and going crazy the 6:45 mark it got going real nice, the more self indulgent stuff is only fun for the drummer playing it

Fantastic drummer, dreadful sound.
Really digging into the drums like this shows passion! But as me mum says-everything in moderation. Too much banging for me. A little less bashing more feel. Its not a competition. That said this guy is a very advanced drummer.
